This chest is a great value for the cost. It had simple instructions to put together. My only discrepancy is that the lid doesn't quite shut all the way because the holes are off but it doesn't hinder the effectiveness of the product itself. While it definitely won't withstand a child's weight (you know how kids love to hide inside of boxes and crates) it most definitely is sturdy enough to hold a large amount of toys and stuffed animals. If i could give a 0 star i would… definitely do not recommend this toy box. The wood is cheap, i was moving it and the leg broke off within a month of having it. The Screws to the hinges have came out multiple times as well.

I bought this chest to store stuffed animals. I chose this one because it doesn’t sit directly on the floor and matches the other bedroom furniture perfectly. It’s very sturdy and is on the heavier side but I like that quality. Great buy for sure.
