The bed will not stay open without the weight of the mattress which must be between: 38 lbs (15 kg) and 90 lbs (41 kg). 6. Minimum ceiling height requirements for installation: 83 in (2.11 m ) . 7. It is recommended to assess the structural integrity of the floor and wall and to make sure that the wall anchoring devices can withstand the forces generated.
