After looking extensively for countertop stools I settled on these. I figured that the quality would be subpar because the price is less than 1/2 what I found for similar products. The design is on trend. The wood and hardware are sturdy. There is ample cushion on the seat and all seems and edges are clean and well done. The stool was much sturdier than expected. It is simple to assemble. I added a drop of wood glue at the end of the cross supports. The fabric on top presents better than in the photos. I will treat with Scotchgard; however, water does seem to bead off the material already upon a check underneath the product. These were a perfect addition to our dining table. We needed a couple extra seats that weren’t super bulky. These were it. I put one of one side and one on the other. Easy assembly and sturdy.

Size was exact for small bar overhang area. I was concerned about sturdiness after reading some reviews so I used wood glue on all areas of footrests including screw holes. Left upside down for 24 hours to completely dry. Be sure to wipe all areas with wet paper towels to cleanup excess. Sturdy as a rock now. Beautiful stools. ... show more
