Just received today. All the parts are inside, no missing hardware. It was pretty easy to assemble, husband and I did together, although I could have easily done this myself. Just needed a Phillips screwdriver and a small wrench. Took about 20-30 minutes. Looks to be well-made. Arrived quickly, in a few days, in good condition. Well-packed in the box. The media could not be loaded. Well worth the money. I’ve wanted a fire pit for a long time. I compared the different ones here on Amazon, and decided to go with this one. It is fairly easy to assemble. I didn’t have the tools or experience to do it quickly, but I made it happen. I don’t see any rust yet, but I’m planning on getting a cover for it to prevent that. It’s holding up nicely. This is my first fire and I plan on having many more. It is fairly heavy but that’s a good thing in a fire pit. 10/10 recommend. This was easy to assemble, lightweight, and sturdy. The screen wall around the fire bowl did arrive broken, but only in a small 2 inch area. I have noticed a small bit of rust starting to appear around screws, the flat surface of the grill, and some small spots on the bottom of the fire bowl. Nothing major but a bit concerning as for the longevity of the firepit. I did purchase the cover and keep it covered when not in use. And I clean out the fire bowl after every other use if not more.     • Nice Fire Pit - Couple Design Issues
The fire pit is fine, have used it a few times. When I move the pit, I try to carry the item by the grates that fit along the top side of the pit. Each grate is only fastened to the body of the fire pit on one side, not both. So each time we carry the pit, half of each grate (when used as a handle) comes out. Why isn't there a way to fasten on both sides? Makes no sense. The metal pole used to stir the fire is WAY to short as well. It's so short that's it really unusable if you have any amount of fire in the pit. There are no holes in the bottom center of the pit. This means that water will collect and will rust the center. I drilled a hole to let the water out. Easy to assemble, just takes 2 people and 4 hands. ... show more

Let me start by saying we have looked at every local big box and home/garden/farm store in our area and all we sold out of firepits or only had low quality product left. Amazon was our last resort. After reading the many positive reviews I decided this was the fire pit for us. It is the perfect size, has a deep bowl for all sizes of firewood and the removeable grill is perfect for just throwing a few hotdogs on. We have spent several evenings roasting marshmallows and relaxing with a beer by the fire. I would highly recomend purchasing the cover as well to extend the life of your firepit. The box arrived via FedEx in perfect condition (box is about 30lbs) and was easy to assemble (about 20 min). When I made my purchase it was on a backorder for about 2-3 weeks. So far it seems to be a well built fire put with a nice deep and wide bowl. I have only had it a couple months. I will say that I do think keeping it in good shape has to do with keeping it covered while not in use, as well as putting it on some cement pavers, will go a long way to keep it from corroding as long as possible. It is painted or powder coated, however we are not talking a high end finish, and even then, it will wear over time, especially with extreme temperatures and moisture. I did buy the cover they offer, and still no rust or corrosion. Metal corrodes when organic matter and moisture are involved, so do your best to protect it, and it should last for you. This product is well designed and actually looks good on our patio. It assembles nicely. One safety related concern to be aware of. This product does not come with an screen protector (to help prevent sparks/popping wood from leaving the fire pit). When the fire reduces to glowing embers and it's time to move on, a domed screen protector allows you to leave the fire pit with peace of mind. I ended up purchasing one directly from SunnydazeDecor.com for $139. Yikes. I wish this fire pit either came with a domed screen protector or that Bali offered one at a reasonable price. I enjoy it! Looks nice, great size, not so heavy. The weight is good enough that heavy winds will not blow it over. Screws will losen as time goes by so becareful. It Did not take long to assemble, my 11 yr old actually helped me put it together. Very easy instructions. Great for smores or even cooking hamburgers. Caution with Windy areas, the designs on sides pull wind through and smoke blows around, also it does not come with no top cover. ... show more
