I bought another pair of these, non winter ones, that fit quite well although longer than described. So, knowing these are decent budget equestrian tights, I got this version. Same size chart. Well these ran small and also very lon, much longer than it said.

The black size large fleece lined horse riding leggings by Baleaf are made in PRC (china). The fabric is a two layer combination, with the outer layer being 75% polyester and 25% spandex, and the inner layer is made from 85% nylon and 15% spandex. I did not find any flaws with the fabric or stitching out of the bag. I went by the sizing chart for my hips and got the large, but the pants are so stretchy, the medium was the better fit (my only nit). The silicone grip area helps keep me planted on my english saddle. The silicone area is still quite obvious, but it's fine when your at the stable. They are comfortable for all day wear, and the waistband stays in place when I wear a belt. These are well made leggings for all day riding. 4 stars

I did not get this for equestrian use but was searching for a pair of warm but lightweight winter pants. These are medium weight and interior lined with fleece. The fabric is also water resistant which offers protection from light rain as well as wind protection. These are skin tight and fit like leggings. The length is too long for my short petite frame. The measurement chart you cannot rely on because the measurements are way off. I ordered a medium…actual measurements are Waist 28/Hips 34/Inseam 29.5. The inseam was almost two inches longer than the size stated online. I am barely 5 ft tall and DID NOT need an extra two inches added to the pants length. After putting these on, they were basically too tight and looked like they ran a size too small judging by the fit along the back and thigh area (and I don’t have a big booty). Front fit looked fine, but the fit was not flattering from the back. There are three pockets (2 open, 1 zip). However, due to the extremely snug fit, items such as cell phone would be bulging. The zip pocket is a very small pocket but zips smoothly without catching. The fabric is of fine quality. However, they could have done better on sizing and getting the cut right around the rear and crotch area. My body could not breathe in these because the fabric holds you in like a vise, and I was so happy to get these off! If these ran true to size and the length was as stated on their web page, they would probably have worked out great for me. Even though these pants did not work for me, I am giving this a neutral 3-star rating because of the nice features and fine materials.
