Super comfortable, well fitting pants that move with you, even in a deep squat, without restricting. One of my very favorite features is that they lined the waist band with a softer material. Game changer! My other pairs of hiking pants don't have this, and the main fabric doesn't feel as nice against your skin as this lining does. Well done, baleaf. I was concerned the ankle toggles would be annoying or ticklish, but I don't even notice them. For me the length is perfect with sneakers and with mid hiking boots. I am 5'4" and got the 29" pants. I am a size 10 and generally order a large in pants. When I ordered these in large, they were way too big so I returned those and got these (medium) which fits perfectly. Might be because this brand's "large" is 12/14 when other brands' "large" is 10/12. I bought these mainly for an upcoming backpacking trip, but having tested them out wearing them to work (I'm a chiropractor, working in a gym setting), I think I'm safe to review them now. I usually wear tights when backpacking but pulling them back up when sweaty after pottying is so difficult and these are very quick drying and allow for more air flow. I'll update this review IF I find something about them that warrants fewer than 5 stars after my trip. As it is, I anticipate getting a second pair for the trip. This was an Amazon brand purchase win for me.

I am 5'4" and 190 so I ordered the XL (29"). They are a little long and have PLENTY of room in the legs but the waist is about right. I just used them while I mowed the lawn and the temperature was in the mid 80s but the humidity was 100%. I loved how light weight these were and yet protective against sun and flying grass. They are very comfortable and didn't make me overly warm or feel restricted in movement. I used the pockets to hold my phone and had no problem with the pants feeling weighted down. I like these so much I'm ordering another pair but this time in size L because I am working on losing some weight and think these were a tad oversized.

I really like the Baleaf products. They are really well made. These pants are well made and I think the color is beautiful. That being said, they are definitely a thin material and not very flattering. People will definitely be able to see your panty lines with these pants. They are not see through just thin. I own several pair of the Baleaf water resistant fleece lined joggers. I wear a M in those and they are very cute and I have received compliments wearing them. I needed something water resistant to wear on my walk when it is warm but raining. These pants fit in the thigh, they are not too long so I won’t need to use the tie at the bottom and they will cover part of my shoe so water won’t drip down the pants and into my shoe. My inseam is 29 inches. They are quite baggy in the bum and hip area giving an unattractive appearance. Cinching the waist band does not help with this problem. I probably could have worn a S but since the fabric is so thin I won’t be exchanging them for a smaller size. I walk early in the morning and don’t come across many people and it’s not like I’m going to need a wear them on a daily basis so they will meet my needs. I definitely would not wear them if I was going to be out and about in a public place.

I've had these for almost 2 years in multiple colors. I sized up to a large so I could wear thick leggings underneath in the fall and winter. In the summer, they are just a smidge baggy but I can tie them. What's nice is if I'm hiking and I get them dirty, I can just take them off before getting in the vehicle because I have on leggings. I'm about 5'5" and 148 lbs. I wear these weekly. 2-3 times a week and I wash them right after I wear them. I bike, hike and do yard work in them. In the summer it's great when doing yard work because my legs aren't getting eaten by mosquitoes and if I'm weeding around poison ivy and brush up against it, my legs are protected. They are very lightweight and durable. I wash them once a week sometimes I wash the dark gray ones twice a week. They look the same as the day I purchased them. I have 3 pairs in different colors. I love the amount of pockets they have. I can carry a large Galaxy S23 Ultra in one pocket. Keys, tissue, lip balm etc in the other pockets and still have empty pockets for other items if needed. I may purchase more because they are on sale.

Light weight, comfortable, sturdy construction, great price, perfect fit--I wear size 14, and size large is spot on. I plan to order more, and, as there is a terrific color range, probably several pairs. These are perfect summer pants, particularly for those of us who want to limit sun exposure (50 SPF) and still stay cool. I absolutely love this first pair.

I bought a pair of these pants a few years ago (2023?) and LOVED them for working and hiking outside in the heat--they were comfortable, lightweight, with good elastic. My colleagues were envious of all the convenient pockets, too. So I wanted to order a second pair in spring 2025, but both pairs that I received (in different colors) had elastic that was noticeably weaker, and the pants just felt cheaper overall. So I returned them :(

I so wanted to love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The features and pockets and colors and price point are great. Offering a petite length was AWESOME. Sizing is accurate. I have 39" hips and a medium is plenty roomy. I noted other reviewers saying the breatheability was a bit overstated and sadly, I have to second that. I had the ankles cinched on a hike in 75 degree weather and the legs built up a ton of heat. Loosening the ankles helped release some heat. More recently I backpacked in 65 degree temps, ankles left loose, and my legs were so sweaty the fabric clung to the knees on the uphills and I had to keep hoisting it. At one point I rolled the ankles up over my calves to make them into long shorts. I won't be wearing these for exertion activities again. They would be fine for errands or dog walking.
