Wore these hiking in 90 degree weather in Mississippi and they worked great. They kept the bugs out and were still cool enough to not regret wearing them in the heat. The waistband did slide down a bit as I got sweaty but they have a drawstring to help with that. When I was done hiking and changed, these dried the quickest out of all clothing I wore for the day. Will be testing wind resistance and waterproofing this fall in Maine but happy with the product so far. I ordered these in glacier gray, in Large based on my usual 12 in jeans. The pants were nicely made and looked good on. I'm 5'4", and the length of the pair I received was perfect. I would probably have removed the bottom drawstring/toggle for a neater appearance. Using the US size on the size chart indicated I should get the Large, which did fit well, though I would have like just a little more room over all; an XL would have done a little better. I'd suggest ordering up if you want a looser fit. Don't bother with the measurements on the chart, though--based on it I should be about 5'7", 160 pounds. Not. But while the fit would have been workable, what ultimately made me return these is that the fabric, while lovely and soft, is very thin, and there was a lot of show-through in the light color I got. ... show more

These fit absolutely perfect, you could use these for yoga with no issue, they are not restricting in any of the “problem areas” us ladies have like thighs and buttocks. I am a slender build but still have enough junk in my trunk to testify:) the length hits perfect on me to cover my ankles and the very top of my hiking boots. I did see a lot of people comment on the length being too short. If you wear an extra small but 5’7 or taller these may be too short. I purchased for an upcoming 3 day hiking trip so I have not tested the water resistance but I am confident I will continue to love them. Highly recommend so far ... show more

I wish I had a photo to share. I love these pants: I purchased several colors for a trip to Brazil. They kept me cool, protected from bugs, dry and so comfortable. I’m typically a 2x and purchased a 2x. They fit great! If you like a baggy fit in the hips you may consider sizing up. I liked the fit and was never uncomfortable. The multiple pocket option was great for storing my phone and such. The waistband elastic is an ideal 1 1/2" wide. The waistline drawstring is sturdy and secured with rivets. I won't even need to use it unless I lose weight. The drawstrings at the ankles seem to be of sturdy construction and are well sewn and covered by additional fabric for protection. The pocket interiors are made of a lightweight, quick-drying mesh. The front pocket on the leg is backed by the sturdier pant fabric, so that's where my sharper keys will go. All the zippers appear to be long lasting. The two reflective strips at the lower legs probably aren't sufficient by themselves to be noticed by drivers during evening runs and will need supplemental reflective strips on a shirt. The fabric seems to be ideal for my main purpose of hiking in a tropical climate. I am 5'4" and weigh 134 pounds. My waist is 34" and my hips are 36". The size L fits me perfectly with room in the hips. My pants have the Baleaf tag sewn into the waistband as well as on the packaging. ... show more

I use these cargo pants for hiking and just for wearing. I love how lightweight they are. I always wear an 8-10, a medium. This pair has a very tight waistband that becomes uncomfortable after a while. I have an average sized waist, so I don't know how anyone with a thicker waist could wear them. They remain wrinkle-free, wash easily, and probably would be good for bicycling. ... show more

These lightweight pants are really nice and they fit me well. The length is good for me at 5'4" with long legs. The only thing that I don't like is the large 'baleaf' logo at the bottom of the right pocket. It is probably 2" wide by 3/4" high. The funny thing is that the logo doesn't really show much on the listing photos, so I was really disappointed to see it so large on the pants. I try to avoid any clothing with brand logos visible.
