First of all, if you are debating on size, SIZE UP! My suggested size was a large, and I am so glad I went with XL - the XL was even borderline too tight around the booty area (and I have a SUPER flat, almost non-existent butt!). After the first wear, I was pleasantly surprised! I wore them for a hike on a very hot day, and I fully expected to be drenched in sweat. After we had sat and rested a bit at the lake, I stood up and audibly gasped "WOW" - they were SO breathable I could literally feel air movement all around my legs. Honestly I was shocked š As far as durability goes, I haven't really had a good test yet, but there was slight discoloring/stretching when I put my phone in the smaller pocket, so I'm guessing they may rip easily if you take a tumble or run into a thorny plant. Also, someone commented that they didn't make any noise - that's just completely untrue. They are definitely much quieter than the awful low quality SWISH SWISH SWISH of the pants I wore in middle school gym - I wasn't bothered by the sound at all - but you definitely won't be sneaking up on anyone. All in all, I'd give them a 4.5/5 so far. Half a star off because the sizing is so off.

Iām 5ā3ā and 215 lbs and most of my weight is in my butt and thighs. I have NEVER purchased pants on line for fear they would not fit. I ordered the 3X and I absolutely love these. I have plenty of room in the legs and the rise is perfect as it is high enough to not ever show a āplumber's buttā!! I purchased 4 pairs and I have worn these for 2 months and they have held up great. The zippered pockets are very nice and the pocket on the leg is deep enough to hold a large IPhone. I also love the draw string waist. Once tied, they stay up nicely. I would highly recommend these pants.

I've ordered 2 pairs so far (2 years ago!), will be ordering more. Originally ordered L and M, not sure which would work. Turns out both work and give me different layering options. I have worn these beyond reason! Hiked in them, worked on the house in them (think screws and tools in the pockets), worked in the yard in them (on my knees, on my butt, getting dirty), and traveled in them (pockets to hold everything you need, comfy enough to sleep in): these pants are hands-down the best for all of those activities! I can't tell you how many times I was convinced I'd torn/ripped them - only to find them in perfect shape. They wash well and so far all stains have disappeared with spot-treating. I do hang them to dry, but mostly because I hang most of my stuff - especially quick-drying items like these. I'm short (5'3") and don't find them too long with shoes on. I'm also curvy (160#), and find they stretch just enough in all the right places to keep them looking great and amazingly comfortable. If not for the zippers, I'd forget I had pants on, they're that comfy. They don't make friction noises, either, or pill at friction points: HUGE bonus! I've spent 3x as much (or more) for name-brand hikers in the past: NEVER again! These Baleaf hikers are it for me from now on. If you're looking for another great option and don't need the extra pockets, I also highly recommend the Baleaf joggers: same amazing material and comfort, although I find I need the L in that style. Purchased for a trip where expected to be outside for multiple rainy days. It did not rain on the trip so cannot say how will hold up to damp or wet conditions. They were comfortable for cool, breezy and sunny days. If the day was cold and overcast I found that the pants were not warm enough and let wind through easily even if I wore thermal pants underneath. I purchased these in gray and a green moss color. Both looked good and were relatively flattering for being elastic waisted pants. I will wear these during the spring and summer for running errands. They are perfect for having a little extra coverage while being light enough for long periods of moderate activity (for me it was walking 5 miles a day on a trip). Love all the pockets.

Went camping for the first time this weekend and wore these pants on the two-hours there and back in the car, setting up and tearing down camp, hiking, and relaxing. Love the elastic and drawstring waist, pockets worked well. I got them a size bigger than I need so I could layer underneath if I want in colder weather. It got cold at night but they were still pretty comfortable and a little wind proof, in hot weather they were also pretty okay! Quality seemed just fine to me. Got sāmores chocolate on them (oops), but it came right out in the wash. I am considering getting another pair in a different color!

I absolutely LOVE these pants. They are amazing. So comfortable they feel like pajama pants. I bought them for hiking and I think they'll be great for that. I've done my gardening in the hot sun and didn't get hot in them at all despite the dark color. The waistband is incredibly comfortable too. I did order dark grey and they appear black to me. Photo is of my black planner up against the pants. Also, my pair has elastic around the ankles, not the drawstring that appears in the photo. But even despite that I'm here about to order another pair!

Bad first, good second: I struggle with body dysmorphia, so putting these on at first felt incorrect. The waistband is flexible and stretchy, so throughout our hike, it became looser and easier to move in. There wasnāt a moment where these felt physically uncomfortable. At 5ā0, these fit like a dream. Especially with the bungees for the ankles, these are great for intense or easy hikes. After a day on the trail (think sweaty, stinky, and dirty), I was able to throw them in the wash and they came out good as new. I ordered three pairs (blue, khaki, and stone) and they all endured the hike and washer without a problem.

Shortly before leaving for a hiking trip, I bought these pants. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a hiking pant that I plan to only wear for one vacation. These pants were a pleasant surprise. They are comfortable, cute, and worth every penny! I hiked 11 miles one day in a light rain shower and the pants did a great job of repelling water and stretching to climb over rocks and fallen trees. I will definitely purchase more of these pants for future hiking excusions.
