I’m older and can’t stand getting in a bathing suit. I love these shorts, they are cute, fit well and don’t ride up. The material dries quickly. I had been wearing the little shorts that are swimsuit material. They never stayed in place and rode up constantly! No worries with these!

I ordered these for our Hawaii trip and they ended up being my favorite thing to wear. First, they are incredibly comfortable. I appreciate that they are lined, so it’s like built-in underwear. The fabric is stretchy. The waist is high and supported my abdominal area. Second, they have pockets. Not huge, but big enough to be functional. I love pockets. Third, they dry fast. They dried faster than my swim suit top. Fourth, they are very versatile. I used them for hiking, cliff jumping, swimming, surfing, snorkeling…everything. I think these would be great for boating and other water sports as well. They pair well with any swim suit top and look decent enough to wear to walk around in with a T-shirt to grab something to eat. I don’t like wearing beach/swim attire at fast casual dining places, but with the right shirt, easily convert to “shorts.” For reference, I’m middle-aged, 5’8” and about 145lbs. Thank you Baleaf yet again for making shorts to fit a curvier body type. I have at least 5 other pairs of black swim shorts and am getting rid of all because I can’t see myself wearing anything but this. I am 5’5, 26 waist, 42 hip and 24 thigh and the small fits like it was made for me. I NEVER find clothes that fit my hip, thigh and waist at the same time. They can definitely pass as actual shorts. The 5” inseam is fantastic. You can kind of scrunch these up the leg a bit for a shorter inseam at the beach if you’d like. They will fold up to nothing if you are traveling. The fabric is smooth and looks like a nice quality piece. The rise covers my stretch marks perfectly, but doesn’t give me that unflattering diaper look that a lot of mid/ higher rise swim bottoms have.
