  • Great Rain Jacket
Size: X-Large Color: Navy
Ideal User The Ideal user for this jacket is someone wanting to be active in warm, rainy weather. It is extremely light, which is perfect for the hot months of the summer. It would also be great as an outer layer if it is colder outside, as it runs a little big and allows space for you to wear warm weather gear underneath. If you’re looking for a lightweight jacket that keeps you dry even in the heaviest of rains, this jacket is for you! Evaluation One of the most important criteria to have in a rain jacket is its ability to keep water out. I have worn this jacket outside in the rain for hours and I stayed dry the entire time, and so will you! Some jackets say that they are water resistant or water proof, but you still end up getting wet while wearing it. This jacket keeps its promise and is 100% water proof. The other criteria that I was looking for was its durability and if you are able to be active while wearing it. I purchased this jacket about 5 months ago and I have seen absolutely no wear on it. It still looks brand new. I was also very pleased with my ability to be active in it. I was able to move my arms and my body without any resistance from the jacket. Because it fits somewhat like a poncho, it is not constricting at all. With that being said, it is also not too loose-fitting, as you can tighten it at the waist and at the end of the sleeves. Conclusion Overall, I really enjoyed this jacket and am very happy with my purchase. This jacket was inexpensive and provided me with great coverage from the rain. It is durable and allows you to be active without any constraints. If you are an active individual needing a durable lightweight jacket, this is a must-buy! ... show more

It was perfect, it was a gift for my nephew. He is 145lbs and is 5'7. The size medium was a perfect fit for him and it was light to use during his run.

  • Good Waterproof, Warm, Lightweight Jacket, But Lacks Ventilation
Size: Small Color: Black
I purchased this waterproof jacket for my daughter, for use on a trip she was taking to the Nicaraguan rain forest. She said that she liked the jacket, and that it was lightweight, and easy to pack into her luggage because it could be folded into a small bag. She said that it definitely kept her warm and dry. She also appreciated the large back pocket, which she found useful for carrying small items. Her only complaint was that there was no ventilation at all, so her body heat was "trapped" inside the jacket. This caused her to sweat quite a bit. She recommends this jacket with that reservation, and thinks it may be better suited for use in colder climates. I hope you found this review helpful. On the other hand, if you did not find this review helpful, I’d be interested in hearing why, so that I can attempt to edit it and make it more helpful to both you and others. If you leave a comment on the review, suggesting how it would be more helpful, I promise to respond to your comment, and to attempt to incorporate your suggestion in my review, if it is at all possible for me to do so. My goal is to write reviews that help people, as I have been helped by the reviews others have written. Thanks! ... show more

  • Pacific Northwest heavy winter rain approved
Size: XX-Large Color: Grey
The pros ; Keeps the rain out, even in heavy down pours. Materials seem quite durable. Light weight. Compact. Elastic wrist cuffs. Large pockets with zippers. Hood permanently attached. No snap on garbage to come off or leak water on your neck. The cons; Material feels like I'm putting on a garbage bag. Once on it's fine and a small price to pay for keeping dry. Need a long sleeve shirt under to be comfortable. Makes a fair amount of noise when you move. Final thoughts; Rain wear is going to be plastic like and/or stiff materials. Can't really complain much about this jacket. It does what is supposed to do ... keep you dry. If you sweat in it you going to get some dampness. However, even though it's a pull over it has a zipper from chin to midchest to vent moisture and I have not had a problem with sweat , even working while wearing it. My wife works for Amazon flex delivering packages and borrowed this jacket for use in heavy all day/night rain. It kept her dry all shift. She was very impressed and wants one of her own. The more it gets worn the better it feels. There is definitely a break in period, just like shoes. I recommend waiting to return it if you don't like it. The jacket took about 3 days of use to break in. Just be patient with it. Most all rain gear is uncomfortable. This is one of the better ones I've worn for sure. ... show more

  • it was uncomfortable

It stunk after first use and very uncomfortable but it does keep water off of you

  • rating is for this price range
Size: Large Color: Black
note that the description says that it is a pullover. that means that it does not have a full length zipper. a full length zipper can be a source of water leakage in a driving rain storm. there is no lining; you may want to order a larger size so you can comfortably wear something bulky, like a sweatshirt. it is definitely water proof but it does not "breathe". in other words, body moisture will accumulate. if you think you will be exerting yourself, a poncho could be a better choice. a rain hat with a brim or a baseball cap under the hood may be needed to keep rain (or snow) out of your eyes. ... show more

  • A really nice betweener
Size: XX-Large Color: Black
Godawful heavy rainfall? You want pvc coated fabric. Summer time drizzle, just wear a ball cap. It is the between types of rain that make a jacket like this useful. Havent tested the coating yet, but the fit and cut are practical, the jacket is very lightweight, and I absolutely love the anorak style with the deep zipper. Less zipper means less leakage; this should be the ideal warm weather, running/cycling, folds down small jacket. ... show more
