After looking at lesser/cheaper gym flooring at some stores, I found these on Amazon. The reviews were very good. My daughter and I were able to install it quickly and easily.     • The grey color tiles must be on sale for a reason

I ordered 3 boxes in grey color to cover most of my basement floor. One box had tiles that were covered in this glittery dust. It came off all over my hands. I returned that box for an exchange. The other two boxes were ok for the most part but had occasional tiles that had some white smudges on them that looked like paint. It's not super important to me so I was ok with those. But I assume that's why they are so much cheaper than other colors. Hopefully the replacement box will be ok. Otherwise, the tiles seem sturdy and good. They are slippery if you're wearing socks so it's best to go barefoot on them. ... show more

I'm giving them a 4/5 because they're good mats and go together easily but 2 things: there is a weird residue on my feet after I walk on them that makes the tile in my basement more slippery. That hasn't changed or worn off. Also, it seems like all the pieces aren't perfect matches in terms of texture. That doesn't bother me as much but the residue thing does, so I'm giving them 4 stars. ... show more

How cool is it that I can assemble this in any shape I want; Which is an "L" shape for going around a machine. Back kicks from a kneeling position is comfortable on knees and jumping is more fun. A friend bought two sets and put them 2 layers tall but it's too bouncy for my workouts. Superb noise barrier if used on a wall or for that reason. I bought both the black and grey to mix the pattern up. They interlocked extremely easy. I would recommend some heavy-duty scissors to cut any pieces into place. These are great for soft stone protection saltillo and my lovely german shepherd hips. Ive purchased 2boxes and then again 3 boxes recently. Im refreshing the traffic areas and expanding into hallways etc after 2 yrs. Cons: Black shows arizona backyd dust dog prints. I used it to set up a gym in the garage. Great quality product. I have walked on this for about 8 months now and it still in great shape. It is a bit pricy but it is worth it.
