These are kind of cheap feeling for the price. There is no way they are giving any protection from the weather. They are pretty stiff and a bit narrow. I don't think they are really durable either. I’m very happy with these boots. It’s been a month. I bought these for working around the yard and for the ankle support. I like the tread on these cuz they don’t pick up a bunch of stuff on the bottom of the shoes. They don’t seem to slip on wet surfaces but I haven’t worn them hiking. I got the wide size “8” they look kinda long but they don’t hurt my toes and my insoles fit inside. Also the side zipper makes it so easy to take on and off.
