First my package was lost, when we finely got it about two weeks late mind you this was a birthday present for my five year old, there was a hole in the box found it was scratched up, but kiddo was excited to have a red bike, so we put it together the instructions were vage and hard to put together. the brake line was really loose and didn't work, so had to modify it so it would work, once all together realized that there is no way to coast must peddle at all times to move the bike and it's hard to peddle. My excited 5 year old is now frustrated more then excited and not sure he wants to ride it but says we need to keep it because it's his red bike so now have a crappy bike to fight my kiddo on 😞 very disappointed in the product as a full should of cancelled order once it was lost. ... show more

Instructions were useless but putting a bike together is pretty straightforward. The only problem I had was a nut was missing for the bolt for the seat. But a quick trip to the hardware store fixed that problem. Otherwise, all the materials used are good quality and it's an absolutely beautiful bike. ... show more

    • Make sure to Check all components for tightness and that everything works correctly.
From MFG the breaks were not set correctly they were vertical instead of horizontal. Also, during the break line inspection and testing i found that none of the brake cables were secured and things that should be tight were not tightened at all - causing the brake cable to pull right out of the connector. Just make sure if you're ordering this product, you ensure everything functions the way they should prior to handing it to your child. ... show more

This bike has been a nightmare. Thankfully after waiting a month and speaking with nearly a dozen employees, I didn't have to pay for it. I actually canceled my order but it arrived anyway. Fight me Amazon, this is beyond my control. Anywho. The whole thing is in a million pieces. I know some assembly is required, but the instructions are pictures of a mostly put together bike. There are no instructions on how to put the brakes together. I'm studying the back brakes, as at least that's assembled. There are some many more pieces than instructions. I thought this was a simple bike, not a master jigsaw puzzle. I wish I could give a better review, but after waiting for a month, canceling the order, having it arrive anyway, and terrible instructions I will never recommend this bike. I have this bike, I tried to cancel it, it came anyway, in a complete wreck. Good luck if you order it. For me I wish I had never even seen this bike. (I have 4 kids, I've put a bike together before.) It's exactly what you never wanted 🤣🤣 Update. Apparently these brakes are supposed to be put together in some fashion. The size was great and the bike was cute for a 3 yr old. The assembly however was a no go according to the instruction they sent. I have never put a bike together. I had to YouTube how ta assemble breaks to the tires that were flat. Where and how to place reflectors and other little assessories had to also be YouTubed. I didn't even put the kick stand on, just assumed since training wheels were on it wasn't needed right now. I will never order a bike that's not put together. For anyone that's going to give this a try make sure there's air in the tire before you assemble brakes. You will stress less. The bike adjusted to her height for comfort. ... show more
