Well, this Everyday Essentials Hex Bar is the real deal! It arrived well packaged and super fast. The welding is real good. The sturdiness of the bar is excellent, it will last for years to come. It arrived with with a bit of paint chipped off but I didn't buy it because of the paint job so I don't mind. I am just letting you all know about it, don't expect it to be perfect all the time. This bar is a tremendous value for the money. Get it! There will be no regrets. I will admit to being surprised about how good it is.

Seriously great bar for the price point! I paid under $100 for it. Does the job and is absolutely sturdy. There are two things I wish were better, but would likely deserve a higher price & this is still a steal - wish the sleeves were a bit longer & wish the knurling on the handle was a little more aggressive (it's reeeeally light). We've since put some tape on the handles & that has made this bar a treat to use. If you're lifting much more than 350#ish, you'll probably want to use smaller plates (like steel ones).

I bought this item for my son, who ran cross country and track & field in high school. He utilized a Hex Weight Lifting Trap Bar for training to build his muscle to prevent injuries while participating in these two sports. He is so glad to own his own Hex Weight Lifting Trap Bar to train and prepare for joining his university cross country team. One star for packaging, like others mentioned it was wraped in a ratty blanket and saran wrap. A box would have been good. Oh well, I cleaned it up before using and moved on from there. As far as the bar, mine arrived undamaged and well within the specified time frame. It is solid, heavy and well built. I have already dropped it by accident twice and its fine. As far as the knurling I dont have a problem with it, I have chalk and wrist straps if needed. I like the feel of the bar when deadlifting, I dont have as much stress on my lower back and it feels good. My only real gripe is the length of the sleeves if you use thinner old school metal plates you can fit more but you have to have a platform or pads to drop it on, bumper plates will take up more sleeve space. I looked around before making this purchase and I could not find a better bar for the same $

This is worth the price I paid, $95 USD. IGNORE the fools who complain about the packaging. Yea, the packaging sucks but it has nothing to do with the bar's performance. IGNORE the fools who complain about the knurling. If you're a serious lifter, you're using gloves, chalk, hooks, or straps anyway. The most common complaints seem to be coming from weak lifters who want a shiny polished piece to add to their other unused equipment. If you're using your equipment, yea it gets banged up. The biggest negative about this bar is you can only fit 5 or 6 iron plates per side depending on the brand. So unless you're pulling over 800 lbs, it won't matter to you. I do not recommend this bar if you plan on using heavy bumper plates. You shouldn't be dropping a hex bar while you're inside it anyway! Think about it.

You'll be hard pressed to find a hexbar that is as good a value as this one. The bar was packaged well with carboard and a cushioned fabric which left the bar pristine upon arrival. It is sturdy as had a nice weight and feel. You'll be glad you ordered this bar my high school boys are very pleased as is my back now that I'm not killing myself doing the straight bar deadlifts. Don't hesitate to purchase. A great addition to any home gym.

Nice bar. The ends do not rotate, the entire bar is a single piece welded together. I'm nowhere near finding the capacity of this but it holds a couple of 45 lbs plates without issues. I bought this to replace the squats that were killing my knees. This is way more comfortable, although it doesn't work the same muscles as a squat, but I don't particularly care. Just trying to not get old any sooner than strictly necessary. My scale says this weighs exactly 50 lbs.

This is a good quality sturdy trap bar and a good value for the price (actually even better now that the price dropped $14 a week after I bought it!). The packaging is ok considering the irregular shape and the weight of the bar. The black finish was scrapped off in several places but no big deal for me. One of the little metal clamp thingy at the end of the bar was a little bent but again, it doesn't affect anything. The handle knurling is not aggressive at all which is fine with me. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this bar.
