I used the straight edge one to smoothen this cake out. It was a bit of learning curve since I was working with chocolate ganache. I heated it up ever so slightly and it literally made everything smooth as butter. I can't wait to use the rest of the designs. The metal is sturdy and it's easy to hold. It is not super heavy. HOLY MOLY! These bad boys are great! I love that they're stainless steal and don't bend when using them. They can easily be put in the dishwasher which is a HUGE plus! I def recommend!

When I unboxed these I was asking myself "what is so heavy in this box...?" Those 4 cake scrapers weighed way more than I was expecting! Each one is in its own envelope and each one is a masterpiece of a scraper. They remind me of tools my engineer father and grandfather would use on the drafting table. They are solid, substantial in the hand, and long enough to go around a three layer cake in one go. Each of them is also a ruler in both inches (up to 9") and cm. The four-pack has whatever you need as far as the design you are wanting to make with the frosting. I am so impressed with the quality of these scrapers I can't even tell you. These are the ones to get if you are in the market for cake scrapers.
