I ready a lot of reviews that it leaks after a couple of uses, my theory on that is that if you put bottles in there, the bottle cap ends up ripping/tearing the inner plastic liner causing it to leak. So what I did was but a small plastic garbage can from Wally-world and slid it right in with a lil elbow grease (tight fit), but now it is sturdy and has a hard inner plastic liner that wont rip. I don't think it can fit 36 cans, maybe without ice. I can fit about 9 bottles of beer and 6 of the slim can beer drinks my wife like with enough ice to keep them cool all day, which in my opinion is just the right amount for a lil outing. I drink Coronas and they are a lil taller then Miller, Summer Shandy, Heini or Bud, so if you do drink those you could probably get a few more in. ... show more

I am loving this purchase. I have tried several backpack coolers and they all seem to either be a backpack or a cooler. This one is the best of both worlds. It keeps everything cold all day with no leaks. Plus it has a bunch of storage pockets for all the things you need throughout the day. I especially like the hidden pocket on the shoulder strap. I brought this for work that is usually a 10-12 hour shift. The ice is usually melted by hour 5 or so, and it was knocked over and water started leaking out. Overall it’s ok if you aren’t working long hours

This is a great cooler I bring to softball tournaments and keeps everything nice and cold like it’s supposed to. But because I carry it on my back I wish there was some extra support or padding in the shoulders. Would definitely buy this again if I needed another one

This backpack cooler has exceeded my expectations. I've used it a handful of times. The gel icepack I put in it says frozen for a long time. I even forgot to empty it out one evening, and the next day, after the top had been unzipped all night, I found the ice pack still half frozen, and the two drinks in it were cold as can be!
