The ice roller handle is made of plastic and the roller part that goes in the fridge has a sort of plastic coating with silicone gel balls inside that get nice and cold when kept in the freezer. I use it in the morning after my skincare routine to help absorb product/reduce puffiness, especially under my eyes. Works wonderfully. Make sure to only roll one way in upward strokes on face and not roll back and forth. The Gua Sha is surprisingly sturdy and an excellent solid material for the affordable price! I was certainly presently surprised by this. I use it mainly in the morning on my face, neck and décolleté to help again with puffiness and lymphatic drainage. Just make sure to follow the guideline on how to properly use the Gua Sha tool! The gua sha is great to start out with. However the ice roller shattered as soon as I dropped it. I did enjoy it until then. If I purchased again I would just have to be more careful.

These two items are now a must-have in my skincare routine. The gua sha is incredibly well-made and easy to handle. n my skincare routine. The gua sha is very manageable and expertly crafted. You can enjoy the extremely cooling sensation of the roller rolling over your skin and neck once it has frozen. The roller is comfortable to use and keeps its low temperature for a long time, which helps to awaken your skin and reduce puffiness. This is more of a preference. The product works well, I just think for me the sculpture is great, but as for the roller I’d rather use a piece of ice and discard the ice instead of transferring my face oils on a roller and then cleaning the roller every-time and sitting it out to dry.

Originally wanted a tool to apply my vitamin c/retinol/hyluronic acid trio pack I got in the same order as this tool because my skin has been craving some serious care but my bank balance cannot afford any of those fancy red light therapy/color therapy/vibrating tools that every ad keeps bombarding me with so I decided on this just for oil applications after I shower at night and omg has this depuffed/regenerated my skin, I look so youthful/bright and my face looks much slimmer in less than two weeks of nightly use with my oils before I put on my snail mucin moisturizer and holy cow...I literally look 22 and I am 35...I haven't had this quick of skin care results in my life and without any irritation(I have sensitive skin so I recommend the oils/moisturizer I have named, do the oils first then roll them on with the ice roller and gua sha tool after they've been in the freezer all day and keep the oils/moisturizer in the fridge and it will feel soooo good after a hot shower with the cold products/curing all headaches/waking up your skin cells and giving them the message to heal in your sleep and I literally wake up with flawless skin.) I use the roller again in the morning after washing my face and then use moisturizer only and just do the oils at night. I fight my 7 year old over this every morning. She loves the way it feels. Even my husband has tried it and loved it. I keep it in the freezer, pop it on the handle and roll away. Once I’m finished I give it a good wash with hand soap and put it back in freezer. My older daughter has purchased one too after using mine.
