    • Decent quality at a good price - good blade tension
This junior hacksaw is not fancy, but it's well made, and all metal (except for the handle which is wood), so it should last forever. The handle is slightly squared which I prefer over a round handle because it makes it easier to control the sawing angle precisely. Tension is adjusted by screwing the handle in and out. It achieves good tension - better than any other junior hacksaw that I've ever had (they were all pretty cheap though). The horizontal grip (as opposed to a vertical grip as other junior hacksaws have) is a matter of taste - I like it because it allows for more precise control in my opinion. Given that this was $12, and cheap junior hacksaws that are half made of plastic and will break after a few years are $5, I think that this is good value. ... show more

The teeth on the blade were very dull and small, couldnt really cut much, without having to put maximum effort.

I have several Bacho tools and all are top quality. This is a great little saw for precision work. It looks and feels like the tools made in the 1950s and 60s.

Quality made - looks and feels as if it will last on the job. Liked that it has a smaller arch to the bow. We have installed woodworking blades and put this tool to use immediately. I've found that Bahco tools seem to be a cut above most others for not much greater cost.
