This is a great bag for car trips, because the top opening makes it easy to grab a book, headphones, wallet, hat, or whatever else I want available during a long ride. It stands well on its own and is easy to carry as a backpack or from the top handle. Another exceptional bag by Baggallini.

I ordered this BAGGALLINI Securtex Anti-Theft Windsor Backpack for my wife to take on an upcoming trip. She is NOT a fan of backpacks in general, but the style and Midnight Blossom Print both appealed to her. This is a MEDIUM sized pack that works well for her 5’ 4” frame. It is NOT bulky or likely to shift if she wears it. It is also easily carried by the strap or the handle or used on one shoulder. I chose this specific model of BAGGALLINI bag because it is ANTI-THEFT rated with cut-resistant straps and slash-resistant interior panels. It has LOCKING ZIPPERS and RFID protection for the contents of the bag. As much as my wife is not a “backpack fan” she did have comments about THIS particular bag. These are HER comments, mine appear after hers. “First, I love the “Midnight Blossom” design motif. It is understated, yet really quite lovely, as many of BAGGALINI’S most popular bags are. I have an older version of their “Crossbody” bag that probably has 200 conference trips on it over 20 plus years. It is still going strong as a travel bag even if it is showing its age. I expect this new backpack will perform equally as well. It has all the quality look and feel of my original. I am amazed by how much this bag CAN hold without feeling bulky. I will not be traveling with it as full as I “test-loaded” it. The size works well for my laptop, water bottle, a pashmina just in case, and all the usual wallet, keys, and what Mark calls his “EDC Stuff” (Everyday Carry). Even fully loaded, it still felt light enough on my back for a trek through the airport or the LONG walk to the car park. The layout inside helps me keep everything in place since it has SEVEN pockets to choose from! I like having specific spots for my passport, keys, and a pen. The side pockets stretch enough to fit my larger water bottle, which is a nice touch, and unexpected in a smaller bag like this one. The security features give me peace of mind when I travel. The locking zippers and slash-resistant panels make me feel more confident in crowded places. I also like the RFID pocket for keeping my cards safe from scanners. The bag’s material handles light rain without soaking through, and I can carry it easily by slipping it over the handle of my roller bag. This bag has subtle style, solid BAGGALLINI build quality, all the safety and security features, and seven pockets for me to use as I need them. I needed one bag to carry AND PROTECT everything I own, INCLUDING CURRENCY, iPad and ALL MY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS while backpacking across Europe that is known for having professional expert PICK POCKETS Especially in London. I got This to be my new GO BAG. It is LARGE ENOUGH for clothes, MULTIPLE COMPARTMENTS to keep things ORGANIZED and compact design that makes it easy to carry and fit into over head compartment on buses, boats, planes and trains. It has 9 different compartments. Inside you will find a Large padded laptop / iPad pocket, 1 Large zippered pocket, 2 inside pockets, Locking Security Zipper extra large main storage area that is reinforced with a strong thick metal bar inside the top seam, elastic lead with metal keyring latch, +PLUS a unique elastic LIPSTICK holder loop feature. (WHAT A GREAT IDEA! I’ve never seen this before in a purse, let alone a backpack or luggage). The interior is made of high quality RFID fabric, enhanced with slash-resistant panels. The exterior has 2 side zipping beverage pockets, 1 on each side that can be adjustable to hold different container sizes. The front of this backpack has a Locking Security Zipper pouch and additionally a 2nd Locking Security Zipper deep pocket. The back has padded shoulder straps and a 5 inch wide LUGGAGE HANDLE SLOT. I had a Baggalini crossbody purse with many of the same security features that's my favorite go-to bag. This one is great for it's roomy sections and security features. Unfortunately, the backpack straps hit my underarm area in an awkward and uncomfortable way no matter how I tighten or loosen the straps. I wouldn't be able to tolerate where the straps rub near by chest except for short. The straps are sewn in securely so no way for me to make personal adjustments. Hence giving 4 instead 5 stars. May fit someone with longer torso better
