I am a big fan of burgandy-colored leather shoes. I was so excited to find a duffle bag that I could coordinate. However this bag when it arrived was royal purple; not at all burgandy like it looked in the pictures posted by sellers and purchasers. I'm keeping it because it's a really nice bag; it took me forever to decide on it, and I need something for my trip; but I am bummed that it is not burgundy as pictured.

I have never tried a Baggalinni bag before, but definitely heard rave reviews about them from some friends. That was actually convinced me to try this brand, since I needed a weekender bag for an upcoming surgery. So glad I listened to my friends and got this one because this was THE bag to bring everything I needed for the hospital—-so happy I got this! I am obsessed with organizing and pockets, and this had the right number of pockets to store everything I wanted and needed, to make my stay more comfortable. The small front zippered pocket is perfect for storing all those must have items I wanted to get quickly, (tissues, gum, lipgloss) and wanted secured safely. The snap pocket section has room for glasses, an id pouch/lanyard, and lots of other items. The front zipper pocket is ideal for storing hospital paperwork or travel documents, or even an iPad. There is a dedicated phone slip pocket (my phone is a little taller, so I didn’t really use the pocket for my phone) and it was just the perfect place to store my spare travel battery charger, which made accessing it so super easy. The main zip interior is extremely roomy, and I was able to easily pack 4 days of clothes and pajamas, in 4 packing cubes, a travel pillow and blanket (just in case my stay was going to be longer), and a cardigan in the main compartment, with room to spare. It is a smartly designed bag with deep zipper pockets on both sides in the main compartment, perfect for separating delicates or keeping track of easily lost items like socks. The deep zipper pockets can also be used to separate clean clothes from dirty clothes. There are also smaller pockets that worked for storing my travel size cosmetic bag and full size hairbrush, etc. Again, fabulous pockets all throughout this bag that make organizing everything a snap! Everything about this bag is smartly designed. The zipper pulls are nicely contoured, and slide effortlessly. The exterior is wipe clean and water repellent, so perfect for any travel or weather conditions. The interior is a nice medium gray, which means you can find items easily against the background. The convenient adjustable duffel strap means you can throw it over your shoulder or use it as a crossbody. You can also use the handles like a shoulder tote. There is even a luggage strap that allows you to position this bag on top of a rolling bag. I really love this bag, and it is so practical and well-designed I will be using it for years to come! Definitely get this duffel if you want a well-designed bag that will store everything you need for any weekend trip.

Baggallini knows how to design bags and purses for those who crave organization and efficiency along with beauty and quality. This travel duffel or "weekender" bag is absolutely perfect! It has features I've never found in others. Notably, the bottom, when expanded, allows the bag to stand up by itself, making for easy packing. But it folds flat for storage- such a nice bonus feature. The stitching is flawless, material is sturdy but lightweight, resists dirt and stains, and is easy to keep/wipe clean. The organization is amazing! The front of the bag includes a full length zip pocket with 2 additional half-length pockets (one zip/one foldover) with a phone pocket at the top (soft lining to protect your phone). Both inside sides have full length zip pockets and one side has two smaller open pockets. I tried to get pics that show the quality stitching and the inside storage. I have their modern camera bag in front of it in one pic for a size comparison and they look great together! It took me a long time to order the camera bag, I looked at all the crossbody bag manufacturers, read all the reviews (good and bad) and finally took a chance on the Baggallini camera bag last year. I'm so glad I did, it's a fabulous bag. If you like to organize your stuff and want a quality bag that will last and looks good, Baggallini will not disappoint.

I like this bag a lot. It's clearly built for durability. The nylon all feels to be good quality and the zipper pulls are sturdy. It's quite spacious. More than I expected when pulling it out of its shipping bag. It collapses flat and neatly but opens up to being quite wide enough for more than just a weekend's worth of stuff. When not filled/expanded, its flexibility (and probably newness) causes it to collapse in on itself, which is nice for not being floppy and ugly but it makes the zippers a little hard to operate. But I usually fill my bags to the max so it's really not an issue for me. Another thing is that the suitcase strap is too narrow. Granted, my suitcase's handle is wide, but I don't think a regular handle would fit through this bag's strap very well. Still, it's all in all a pretty great bag.
