I am so thrilled with this GOLD tablecloth ... not only to FINALLY find the right size for my 54"x70" oval table, but also with the easy care for such a luxurious tablecloth ... that I can't praise it enough. Because of the high cotton content, it isn't sleazy/thin like some synthetics I've seen, but the polyester content is enough to help it come from the dryer (still slightly damp) with few wrinkles; I may have to mist the curve on the ends a little to smooth them out, but that is usually it (I won't knowingly buy anything that I suspsect requires ironing). I plan to order another in the cranberry for holiday time. Even with minimal shrinking (expected from my previous experience with this much cotton), it still provides a nice overhang on my 2-inch thick table. So many oval cloths seem to be made for tables that are 48 inches wide and are totally unsuitable for our table. Sigh, I am so happy! Oops, I see that I am reviewing the ivory cloth, but I actually have the gold one. Don't know how to fix that. But I'm sure all colors are equally nice, and I do expect to have several more colors eventually, based on my satisfaction with the gold one AND with the reasonable Amazon pricing. ... show more

I am not sure about everyone else but I have had a difficult time finding an oval tablecloth. I guess oval tables are outmoded or something. I love my old dining set and I would not want to get rid of it. It still looks fantastic but finding really nice table covers is getting to be a pain so I was extremely happy to find this in a color that I wanted with other color options for me as well. The ivory is very nice and rich looking and will fit in with the decor very well. It appears to be well constructed amnd hopefully will last until the oval table comes back in vogue and I will have a deluge of tablecoverings to choose from. ... show more

This is a pretty tablecloth of good quality & it washes beautifully. HOWEVER, the color was listed as WHITE but is definitely not white. It is straight up Ivory. I was able to make it work but would've returned it if I had had more time. Be warned that if you need white, i.e. snow white, this White tablecloth is not the choice for you. I think this may tick me off every time I need to set my formal dining table but only time will tell. ... show more

For years my wife has had to use two tablecloths to cover our dining table when extended for large parties. Came across this large tablecloth that was just perfect for the task. The price was considerably lower than you'd find in a Tuesday Morning or Bed, Bath & Beyond (even with coupon) assuming you could even find a tablecloth of this size. But best of all, both my wife and I were surprised when this item showed up. It's beautiful! There would appear to be an incredible amount of stitching required to create the lovely tone-on-tone pattern. The tablecloth looks really expensive. Note, it's relatively fancy. I had previously purchased the Lenox Laurel Leaf in another color and have been very satisfied with the appearance and quality of the tablecloth. I have used my new white Lenox Laurel Leaf tablecloth about four times and it still looks fabulous. No ironing is needed if removed from the dryer at the end of the permanent press cycle. Do not over-dry the tablecloth. I like the sheen it gives off. I have not purchased the matching napkins as I prefer linen/cotton over a synthetic for napkins. I definitely recommend Lenox Laurel Leaf as a tablecloth that is easy to care for and has a classy appearance. The size is perfect for my table that seats 8-10. ... show more
