Description

Any job requiring a simple, yet effective spray is easily completed by the Model 250 Series. The 250 is basic enough for children, (ages 12 and up) to use with adult supervision, yet efficient enough for adult use. Hands-on inspection and testing insure Badger’s high quality standards. The Model 250 spray gun is perfect for jobs requiring large overall coverage with medium to heavy viscosity materials. Modeling, school projects, home improvement projects, workshop jobs, ceramic under glazing, fogging, texturing and stenciling can all be handled by the Model 250. The spray pattern can be adjusted from 3/4-inch (19 millimeter) to 2-inch (50.8 millimeter) simply by turning the paint tip. The Model 250 uses 3/4ounce (22 milliliter) or 2 ounce (60 milliliter) jars. The Model 250-1 Set contains spray gun with attached jar, propel regulator, vinyl air hose, extra jar with cover and instruction manual. Proudly made in the USA.

Any part or material that becomes defective or is worn so as to not be usable within one year of purchase will be repaired or replaced at our discretion and expense. Your badger airbrush has a lifetime warranty for any necessary factory labor (after the first year, the only cost of factory repair will be the cost of shipping to the factory and repair related parts). These warranties do not cover damage caused by negligence, accidents, misuse, or units that have been abused or altered in any way. The ptfe needle bearing has a lifetime warranty and if ever necessary will be replaced at the factory without cost, except for to the factory shipment cost, to the airbrush owner.

this is the best thing for light duty occasional application of ceracoat. but i wish it was better built, more plastic supporting the air intake. i've had 2 break at that point.

    • Works pretty well to finish small woodworking projects - not the greatest sprayer but great value
I bought this for finishing small woodworking projects when I don't want to brush but also don't want to break out the big HVLP gun. I run it off a standard shop compressor - you need the Badger 50-0231 adapter for that, and regulate the compressor down to ~30 psi. It works pretty well - just finished a picture frame this morning and it beats a paintbrush. I used it for oil-based poly - you have to thin it down a bit more than you would for a larger spray gun. The spray output is a bit less than what you'd get from a rattle can. The tool is very small - I don't have very large hands but I wish the gun was a bit bigger. The quality is not great but it works. I had to shorten the spring a little in order to be able to adjust the nozzle appropriately. This isn't going to last forever, but for $16 it's a very good value. When this breaks I'll probably get something slightly better and larger. Cleanup is easy. ... show more

I have used this air brush for almost twenty years for base coating model kits. It's a terrific little piece of equipment for basic over-painting. I finally wore my original one out and so, I bought this new one to replace it. It's the same air brush. It hasn't been "cheapened down" over the years. Like any air brush, it works best with a small air compressor; one that will reliably put out about 40psi. But it is reliable with canned air, too, and it comes with the necessary attachment. One cannot do detailed work with this brush, it's strictly for base coating, but it does this very, very well. ... show more

I ordered this Badger 250‑1 kit and the package arrived missing multiple components listed in the product description: the propel regulator, the extra jar and lid, and the instruction manual. Only the airbrush, attached jar, and hose were in the box. I contacted Badger directly and was told the kit I received was not factory‑packaged, even though it was sold as new and fulfilled by Amazon. Badger refused to provide the missing parts and redirected me back to the seller. Amazon’s system would not allow me to contact the seller, so the only option left was to return the product. Between the incomplete kit, the non‑factory packaging, and the lack of support from both the seller and the manufacturer, this was a complete waste of time.
