I had two older cat towers that I’ve had about 8 years made by the same company that needed to be replaced with bigger, taller, and newer towers. I was so happy to find them here, and picked out two for my home. This one is massive, sturdy, and fantastic for larger cats. Both of mine have so much space on it, and really enjoy stretching out. I’m not worried at all about it being knocked down, since it’s built solid. Other towers that you have to build yourself feel like they’re made of paper towel rolls, the fabric is awful, and they wobble so much they will fall over. This one has really nice quality carpet fabric, sturdy scratching twine, and is super sturdy since you only have to attach the three poles and it’s ready to use. The only issue I could have is the middle tallest pole does shake slightly, but if you really screw it in tight it’s fine, and the two ledges between it help keep it stable as well. Overall though I’m very happy with this tower, the design is exactly what I wanted in the spot I put it in, and I can see it lasting for years like my old ones did. ... show more

This tree is perfect for our needs. Heavy duty construction, well built with wood and not cardboard tubes, and we like that it is covered with carpet, not the fake fur stuff. The posts covered with sissel seem to be put together well and, hopefully, won't start unravelling anytime soon. It came quickly and packed well. Assembly was minimal as it was in big pieces. Only real complaint: the towers have to be screwed in (bolts already mounted in the wood) so you need to spin the entire platform. The center post is rectangular, which is good for stability, but not good for spinning down (screwing down) between 2 platforms. Had to turn the 2 lower platforms sideways to allow space for the center post. We left it that way. Due to the heavier construction of the top area, which we like, the single tall post has a little sway to it. Not too much, but might need to put a stabilizer screw up underneath in the future. Overall, very happy with our purchase, and would recommend it. And, somewhat surprisingly, one of our cats actually hangs out in the highest hammock/platform/half-pipe. ... show more

My 4 cats and I have been living with my dad and his 4 cats since Helene. The towers on the perch he had were falling off due to poor quality. I recently bought a sturdy perch of a different brand. Dad wanted something heavy and good quality. Thus one is 10# heavier than the one I had at my house. Incredibly sturdy, no tools required, and just 5 pieces to assemble. Probably would have taken about 10 minutes but every time we got a platform out one of my cats hopped on it while we were trying to screw it in place. I’ve had cats for most of my 58 years. I had a brand I really liked when I lived in WI but there aren’t any of those stores in NC. This is the BEST perch I’ve ever had, better than what used to be my favorite. Definitely worth every penny of the price. Perfect for large adult cats. I’ve already recommended it to a friend who needs a new perch for her cat. Sturdy, well made and easy to assemble. This is very heavy. It wobbles very slightly when one of our large cats jumps up into or down from the crow's nest on top. We have been using this for 4mos now, and our cats really enjoy it. They love to scratch on the sisal and it has held up very well. The carpeted portion of the posts, less so. They're shredded. I love this cat tree. Plenty of scratchers available to let my cats stretch and sharpen their claws. The sleeping areas are huge. I have a large 15 lbs cat very solid and muscular and there is plenty of room for him to sleep comfortably on every landing. I have 6 cat trees in my house and this one is my favorite. Very sturdy. Phenomenal cat tree for larger or multiple cats. My largest 2 are over 18 lbs and are extremely comfortable in this tree. Very stable and heavy. No wobble during the zoomies!

    • Well made. My 4 cats love it.
Pros: Came mostly assembled. Easy to screw on the 3 shelves. Real carpet that will last. The uncarpeted underside was sanded very smooth. No splinters. I was worried about this because all of my cat trees are fully covered. But this is fine. Nothing snags. Solid. Rope is secured tightly. No nails or staples sticking out. Cats (max 13 lbs) roughhouse on this with no problems. No fear of tipping. Plenty of room on the platforms. The middle U-shaped platform is very deep. I was afraid it would be too much but they love it. I think they feel secure. And they love to "hide" and peek over when playing. It will definitely hold a big breed cat. Cons: The bottom had some wood splinters that I felt the need to cover to protect the floor. Just one corner. The middle post wobbles just a bit. It turned out not to be a problem but I wanted to note it. I only buy these solid wood trees with real carpet because they last for more than the lifetime of your cat. Worth the expense. But it has been so hard to find them lately. I hated to buy one without being able to see how stable and well made they are. But this one did not disappoint. I am glad I gave it a try. I can see a larger breed cat being fine on this. The center pole needs to be screwed tight or support piece screwed between one platform and the middle pole if it is a concern for the big guys.
