Pros: Came mostly assembled. Easy to screw on the 3 shelves. Real carpet that will last. The uncarpeted underside was sanded very smooth. No splinters. I was worried about this because all of my cat trees are fully covered. But this is fine. Nothing snags. Solid. Rope is secured tightly. No nails or staples sticking out. Cats (max 13 lbs) roughhouse on this with no problems. No fear of tipping. Plenty of room on the platforms. The middle U-shaped platform is very deep. I was afraid it would be too much but they love it. I think they feel secure. And they love to "hide" and peek over when playing. It will definitely hold a big breed cat. Cons: The bottom had some wood splinters that I felt the need to cover to protect the floor. Just one corner. The middle post wobbles just a bit. It turned out not to be a problem but I wanted to note it. I only buy these solid wood trees with real carpet because they last for more than the lifetime of your cat. Worth the expense. But it has been so hard to find them lately. I hated to buy one without being able to see how stable and well made they are. But this one did not disappoint. I am glad I gave it a try. I can see a larger breed cat being fine on this. The center pole needs to be screwed tight or support piece screwed between one platform and the middle pole if it is a concern for the big guys. I had this for about 7 months before I opened it. Was moving and waited. Also wanted to wait for help because pretty much everything I buy that needs assembly has a million screws that need to be tightened with allen wrenches and often the directions are just pictures that I can't understand. Was so pleasantly surprised with this. Each piece just screws into the other and the bottom half is already together. Simply needed to put in the perches. Assembly time less than 10 minutes. So happy with this purchase!!! We have two Siberians which are bigger cats and they LOVE it!!! Each of the platforms are large enough for them to both enjoy and they went right after the scratching posts. The quality and craftsmanship is the best of any of the previous cat towers I have purchased. It’s solid, sturdy and packaged perfectly. So easy to put together no tools necessary!!     • My Cat Adores This Tree!
Very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. My larger cat loves this tree and can leap and bound off of it without me being concerned that it will topple like most cat trees. The setup was very easy and it looks good in my home without taking up too much space. It's worth the cost.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this tower. Its super sturdy. Easy to assemble. Decent in height. I also dont have straight floors but it has some good weight to it so it doesnt wobble. I have two big cats (4 cats in total). In the pictures are 3 cats. Black tuxedo who weights 13lbs. American short hair (the big boy) 20lbs. American short hair (seen sleeping 10lbs) and off screen is another big boy at 17lbs (savanah mix breed) not in the photos. Holds well with all 4 of em on it. My biggest concern was when tighting the last post, I got injured by a staple sticking out, requiring a suture tape on the palm of my hand. Luckily I got hurt and not my cats. But thats a big concern as the injury was half a inch deep. Never the less, for the value of it I wish it was properly inspected before it was shipped. Otherwise, for how big it is I like the price. So I wont do a harsh review. Mistakes happen. For any future buyers , make sure to comb through it before you let your cats play on it. ... show more

Very sturdy! It’s not quite tall enough but we have it on top of a trunk to make it taller. It’s very stable, our largest cat is 13 pounds and it’s plenty big for her. The quality is great, made with actual carpet and not cheap felt.

My 4 cats and I have been living with my dad and his 4 cats since Helene. The towers on the perch he had were falling off due to poor quality. I recently bought a sturdy perch of a different brand. Dad wanted something heavy and good quality. Thus one is 10# heavier than the one I had at my house. Incredibly sturdy, no tools required, and just 5 pieces to assemble. Probably would have taken about 10 minutes but every time we got a platform out one of my cats hopped on it while we were trying to screw it in place. I’ve had cats for most of my 58 years. I had a brand I really liked when I lived in WI but there aren’t any of those stores in NC. This is the BEST perch I’ve ever had, better than what used to be my favorite. Definitely worth every penny of the price. Perfect for large adult cats. I’ve already recommended it to a friend who needs a new perch for her cat.
