I have a few tools that use this same battery so I was excited to get this sprayer. The construction seems decent but of course there is plenty of plastic including the sprayer trigger. The battery compartment is nice and big and both size batteries that I had on hand fit with no issues. It appears that mine was shipped with out the power button cover but it still functions with no issues. The padding and back pad are pretty thin but both are functional. Holds plenty of whatever I am using to treat my half acre lot. I like that it has fill lines for both gallons and liters. Also included is a removable built in fill strainer to make sure no debris enters the tank. Overall a very nice sprayer that makes the job much easier.

This battery powered backpack sprayer is easy to operate, and should be good for spraying large areas without having to refill. - The unit weighs 6 lbs. when empty (no battery), and 44 lbs. when filled to its 4.2gal/15.9l capacity and equipped with a Dewalt 5Ah battery. - The padded back, shoulder straps, and waist belt are pretty basic but seem to be sufficient. - The sprayer pump is not very loud. It only runs when pressurizing the tank (i.e., when first turned on, and while spraying) - The spray wand and nozzles assemble very easily and did not leak. - My Dewalt 20V battery snapped into this sprayer's battery compartment securely, and there were no issues with removing it either. The 5Ah XR battery fit into the compartment with approx. 10mm room to spare below the battery.

I was torn between this sprayer and an ATV mounted option for treating the weeds, poison ivy, and invasive briars on our property. I settled on this because of the ability to get to areas that the ATV might have issues getting, although I may have been optimistic about my ability to traverse rough terrain with this pack. With the tank full, this is a hefty system, but the pack suspension and back padding is pretty good at making it comfortable. The largest battery I own that would fit is a 5AH 20V factory DeWalt. It is possible the 6AH ones would work too, but the 20v/60v 9AH aftermarket battery I tried was too large for the battery compartment. A 5AH was sufficient to completely empty the leaving 1/3rd of the battery to spare. The battery compartment has a plastic door which should help protect against drips and spray. The wand is extendable and comes with three tips. The straight spray tip sprays a varying pattern depending on tightness but mostly in the direction of the wand. There are also two downward facing tips (one brass and one large plastic). For my use the basic one is best. My biggest complaint is that it is not very good for stop-start and applying to small patches. The pump takes about 2 seconds to ramp up meaning that if you aren’t treating a large continuous region it isn’t the best fit.

Takes an easy-to-get, common battery, nothing proprietary to the brand, so that is always a plus, and the capacity is also quite good. The kind that you have to pump by hand needs air to also be in the tank, so a so-called one gallon tank is going to be less than that. My only concerns would be regarding longevity and durability, especially from an unknown brand, so pay particular attention to the warranty and read as many reviews as possible, both on here and elsewhere. Peruse Ytube for some video reviews as well. As long-term reliability is an unknown, my review will only focus on initial function and build quality, thus: For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five Stars I am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

This is a perfect pump if you use the Dewalt 20V batteries on your other tools. It easily holds an XR battery in the slot securely I can go all day on a single charge, I sprayed all my trees, sidewalks, wraparound driveway, front porch and fenced in backyard on my 5+ acres with no issues. It comes with several nozzles to use on the wand The only drawback is there is nowhere to store the wand on the device. Not a dealbreaker, but would have been a nice option.

I have a number of different Dewalt 20v lithium batteries, both brand and aftermarket, and none of them fit this sprayer. I've even ordered batteries for it, and still no correct fit. There were no instructions included in the box, so I have no idea what model number or series of battery it needs. Very disappointed about the battery situation.

It's okay. I guess i was expecting more, doesn't come with instructions or anything. It does mention needing a DeWalt battery but doesn't specify what size. Seems cheaply made only time will tell. Definitely get what you pay for

I really like this sprayer. It is the perfect combination if you already have the Dewalt 20v batteries. I have a 3 acre yard and the battery still has charge at the end. The sprayer shoots far but is very adjustable to customize your needs. It does have a bit of weight to it once filled so be prepared to use your muscles. I have a couple other of this brands Dewalt 20v products and they all work well. I recommend it.
