My sister and I planned to take a day trip from San Diego to Universal Studios in L.A. for my birthday last August. We wanted a smaller lightweight backpack that would not only look nice and weigh next to nothing, but which would also hold all of our needs for the day while we traversed the theme park. We had each originally bought a different brand of back pack, it was just okay but it was more like a hiker’s pack, made of ripstop nylon and lightweight, but it was still much larger than this bag, was unstructured and kind of sloppy looking. Once we threw all of our stuff in the other brand pack, it was just a jumble of stuff rolling around in there, I didn’t like it for a day-pack at a theme park. So I went ahead and ordered 2 of these - one for me and one for my sister, she didn’t know it, but I just had a feeling that once she saw it in person, she would prefer this one over the hiker’s pack. And that is exactly what happened. I was really pleased with everything about this backpack. First of all - it looks really nice. You could take this into the office or out to dinner and still look moderately professional with it. It comes in 2 sizes, I got the smaller size because it suited my one-day needs. I’d say if you want this for a longer trip, of if you are planning to carry things for both you and your kids, maybe size up. For me and my purposes, the small pack held everything I wanted to take with me, including an extra pair of flipflops and a lightweight cardigan, my wallet, phone, makeup, and still had room for all the souveniers I bought at the theme park (and I bought a lot!). Even full, the straps were pretty comfortable. I think the fact that the bag is structured and sits flush against your back helps keep it from pulling under the arms and digging into the shoulders too much. I bought her over a year ago and she is holding up very nicely. She is a mini backpack but she is very roomy! She has replaced my marc jacobs mini tote and my moschino sling for traveling. She has gone on many vacations with my the past year as she is able to hold all my carry on essentials and she still looks great! She has gotten many compliments from women AND even men. The media could not be loaded. This bag is the perfect replacement for my old synthetic leather mini backpack. Its a little bigger than i imagined but not at all too big and it fits the product description. Its versitile and has oh so many pockets which i love! The pockets are also super deap, and Even the coin purse has a hidden pocket! Your life will finally feel more orginised i promise. The material is nice, its kind of like a padded winter coat and has the water resistance of one. (I tested it) It can fit an A4 notebook but its snug if anyone is attempting to use this for school, it has some versatility to do so. The sippers are all metal and feel quality. I got the small size and it’s surprisingly roomy. Just manages to fit my iPad Pro Plus all my other stuff. I can’t attest to the longevity of the zippers, but hopefully they will last. I use this as my toddlers diaper bag. It fits a lot plus it’s cute. It has a lot of pockets which I love. It has a zipper on each side which is preferable for me. I can fit: 2 outfits. Shoes. 2 sippy cups, plus snacks. Diapers and a back of wipes. A travel pack of Clorox wipes. The front pocket has all of her essentials: lotion, diaper rash cream, hair ties, utensils, etc. Plus it has the back pocket where I can place my wallet and phone. Overall love it. Love the color. Water resistant. Got caught in the rain over the weekend and things inside where still dry. Durability: too soon to say. It hasn’t been that long since I bought it and I don’t use it every day.
