Wow! This stuff is AWESOME! The first thing I liked about it is that it once you add the water and put in your pots...it;s not messy like the soil you buy in the bags. I added the gallon and a half just as the instructions indicated, and it turned into this easy-to-use, nutrient-rich potting soil. The only question I have is if I can store the extra and use it later...will it re-hydrate well and be usable? I'll come update this after I try it. ... show more

I don’t understand all the whining about this excellent growing medium. I have not one bug.i have had high germination rates and 15 assorted vegetable plants coming up in 7 days.i do lightly water or mist every 12 hours, as needed.

I'm not a plant expert. Half of my plants don't survive. I got this to re-home a plant that I like. The plant has grown since the re-homing. I guess that means it's good stuff.

I have purchased soil from Amazon for years this is the first time I have bought this brand, and it's horrible. I will stay with Miracle-Gro or Espoma Organic Potting Soil Mix. Not only that, but I could not figure why I had bugs flying all over the place I'm still trying to get rid of them. Not only that, but I had to throw out several plants the Elephant's foot plants were healthy and growing well after re-potting the tip of my white cabinet was covered with bugs I had to bag the plants, throw them out. My plant population is down from 40 to 21 because after re-potting plants became sick. All my plants were healthy and the plants picture I must try to nurse back to health. The bugs were all in the bathroom on the walls covering a corner and wall the next picture is the pipe in my bedroom over where I have a few plants. I had to hire an exterminator. I am not a happy camper because I have had these plants for years from a nursery online — they must certify pants are bug free to cross state lines. I have never had a problem with bugs. Now I'm treating soil in an attempt to save the plants and bring them back to health. I threw out three bags of soil and I will never buy this brand again, saying I'm not happy with this product is an understatement. ... show more

Great succulent house plant potting soil. Our batch was on the sandy and twiggy and loamy side. 5 months in and the plants seem to be happy with it so far. Mixed some with other soil for one pot because potting soil usually goes faster than it looks like it would from the bag to the plant pots lol
