I was skeptical prior to purchasing this mulch but I’m glad I did. Recently purchased two 6-7 foot decorative trees but we were in the midst of a drought. I watered the plants quite a lot and the mulch definitely captured the water, keeping the ground around the trees from drying out.

This block of much is fantastic!!! I filled the wheelbarrow so the mulch could drink up & become water logged!!! It’s that simple!!! I rolled over to the space & began scooping beautifully into garden space…this coconut mulch retains moisture & stays moist longer even in full sun. The chips are perfect size for filling in tiny spaces or even using in pots!!! I haven’t used for seed starting & as this is my first block I can’t speak to plant growth…however I would certainly use for that purpose as it’s a very value laden product. I’m ordering more…I also use with cocoa bean so I have the glorious scent of chocolate with the durability of coconut husk…great combo!!! ... show more
