I got this for my son that has minor scoliosis. We've tried multiple types of back braces from the small ones that only pull the shoulders back to the ones that go all the way down to the hips. He's a huge gamer and always on his computer, so a good brace is essential for keeping his back pain at bay since his posture is horrible. It's not the best one he's tried, but definitely towards the top in regards to comfort and value. It's of great quality and well constructed. It feels like a product that will last. It does a nice job of keeping his back straighter and prevents him from hunching over his keyboard as much. The support bars on the back give nice support and it's very comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. The material is breathable and doesn't cause you to start sweating 5 minutes after putting it on, which is a huge plus. Overall this is a good product I can confidently recommend. ... show more

I have a bending back and would like to straighten my back. I used to go to the gym to alleviate my bending back, but I have been lazy about the gym. I ordered the brace posture corrector, hoping to improve my bending back. Upon opening the box, I noticed the back brace was lightweight and made of soft material. The back brace was easy to put on with Velcro. I ordered a waist size 27-34 inches, and I wear a size 30 pants, so it fits snugly, but I used Velcro to make them tight. The instruction stated to wear the brace for 30 minutes on the first day. The wearing of the brace must be titrated up. It is probably instructed to slowly go up with minutes so that my body and back get accustomed to wearing the back brace. The material stated it's breathable, but since I wear the brace over the shirt and it's tight, I was not sure how that would affect it, but it's a good feature. I wore the brace for a week and noticed that my back was sitting a little straighter. My back had gotten accustomed to a straighter posture.
