Due to back injuries and chronic lower back pain, I have tried many back braces and the KONSEDIK Back Brace is by far the best one yet. I have only used it for a week so I cannot speak to durability but it seems sturdy and the new Velcro hook closure (appears to be VELCRO® Brand High Technology Hooks (HTH)) is soft and strong and does not snag. This is a good selling point - surprised the seller did not mention it. Because of a recent flare-up, I decided to try this back brace with a lumbar pad and I’m glad I did. My lower back would become painful if I sit for a long time and I could only sit on my side or against a lumbar pillow but even then it was uncomfortable. After wearing this back brace with the lumbar pad for a few hours I was able to sit comfortably without pain! The compression from the lumbar pad and the brace likely made my back better and eased the pain. Usually only many acupuncture visits could achieve that. This is amazing! I also like the breathable fabric with lots of ventilation which did not make me feel hot after wearing it for many hours even in hot weather, unlike braces made of neoprene. The double compression straps are fantastic in providing infinite compression adjustments. I found that adjusting the brace as tight as possible without restricting circulation or breathing provides the best therapeutic effect. This well-designed brace also comes in 4 different sizes so you can get one that’s almost tailored to your physique. I highly recommend the effective, comfortable, and cooling KONSEDIK Back Brace. In fact, I’m going to get another one as a backup.

It helps support my back some, but was very disappointed with the lumbar pad. It is a hard, molded plastic. It can be. Vey uncomfortable in certain circumstances. Why wasn't there a more giving pad! I'll use it as it helps with support, but not thrilled!

I threw my back out about a month ago. To the point I could barely walk. This gave me the core strength to be able to stand up straight. I am able to sleep sit and walk with it. With PT I just use it for sleeping now. Perfect for my needs.

5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Despite the good reviews from similar items, at first I was skeptical about this belt, because I had been given another type of “support belt” from a former doctor of mine that was supposed to help support my back to help alleviate my back pain. Well, the one they gave me did absolutely nothing, and was actually uncomfortable, which made it worse than wearing nothing. But, I tried this belt and was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually made a difference! To be clear- it is NOT A CURE ALL- but it does *reduce* the pain and strain I feel from just doing regular household tasks, like cooking, doing dishes, etc. Usually I need to take a pain pill 💊 or a muscle relaxer after doing any of these things, but putting this belt on has actually helped to reduce the discomfort and pain I feel after these activities. The belt is very adjustable, and comes with straps that help you dial in the level of support, and a removable piece that can add pressure point stimulation on your lower back that some people may find helpful. I didn’t personally like using that piece, but everyone is different. At least it can be removed or placed anywhere you like, which gives more options. The construction seems solid, and it even looks sort of neat. The design makes it look a little bit like a high tech weight lifting belt. Bottom line, if you suffer from back pain that is accompanied by muscle tightness, give this belt a try. It has helped in my situation, which is a rather severe one. I hope this helps.
