Very supportive back brace. It says it's "lower" back brace, but I have mid/upper back weakness and issues, and after watching the reviews /videos, I went ahead and purchased anyway and I think it feels very supportive and works well, beyond just for lower back. Best way to maintain good posture is to think of keeping your core lifted, and this Rakiie brace makes it easier to feel when I'm in or out of that correct posture--but it also actually supports the correct posture position. In other words, its positioning and structure "remind" me to maintain good posture, but it also makes me FEEL like I have good posture, if that makes sense. There is a detachable extra square pad, which I personally felt like was just too much stuff - - too bulky, however that leads me to talk about size... They actually have a size chart which is super helpful: I got the small because it matched my measurements, however I had a feeling maybe I should go a size up, but I'm not sure if I would next time or not... Pros of getting next size up might be that I would not hear the velcro attachments sort of "straining" (lol might sound funny, but I stretch it pretty tight around myself) when I bend and twist and move while I'm working, but then again if it's too loose then you might have too much strap overlapping and end up with the same problem. Also, for me personally, I kept feeling like it looked bulky, but every time I would check in the mirror at work, I felt that you could not notice it at all under my clothes (and I wear basically dress clothing--I do not wear very close fitting tops tho--usually looser or somewhat flowy, with a tie belt around the waist, but the brace is not detectable to the sight in my opinion) The brace is very lightweight, which I love. Velcro is strong and has wide area, so you can literally pull the straps and place them anywhere, which is great because depending on where I feel like I need support, whether right under my ribs or maybe lower down, I can move the extra compression straps up and down and attach them wherever I feel I most need the support. I have a super sensitive nose, and this back brace did not have any weird smells. I did also feel like it was breathable. It did not make me feel more hot. I did notice that when I took it off one day, after I was kind of hot, that the mesh material felt slightly damp (I wore the brace like over a tank top undershirt), so I guess that just means exactly like I said--it's breathable, because if I were not breathable, I think that would mean if I were sweating, the sweat would just be trapped between my skin and the brace.

Giving this 5 stars mainly because it fits! I'm a 2xl plus size & have struggled finding a back brace that's affordable & fits. It's easy to get on, feels like it's made well & will hold up, isn't too bulky & is comfortable overall. I like the padding piece in the back, it helps cushion my sensitive area. I'd highly recommend this. If you measure your waist as they say it'll fit. Also it was affordable!

Close to adequate, especially for the price. It did seem small and barely fits, but the lightness I like somewhat (but fear a little popping open) the extra large isn't that big and for a very average female, pretty skimpy

I bought two back braces and kept them both. This one is great and offers stability and helps me remember to hold in my abdominal muscles and walk or sit up straighter. Definitely reminds me to lift with my legs so I don’t hurt my back. I bought to initially wear on an international plane ride but did not find it comfortable enough to keep on the entire trip. Highly recommend!
