This brace is well-made and exactly as pictured in the listing. The sizing seems appropriate, meaning we got the size we needed when we ordered. When worn, this brace provides comfortable support without being too stiff. The larger velcro strap keeps the brace on your body, and the two lateral straps adjust the tightness and fit to your comfort level. There are also additional velcro pads that you can fasten wherever you need them on the brace, so that you are not stuck placing the straps on the pre-determined velcro areas on the brace. We just put ours off to the side for future use. Overall, I think this is a great brace for light support and to remind you to maintain good body mechanics. It definitely provides some pain relief, but it is not a medical-grade brace. Always seek the advice of your doctor when it comes to back pain!

The velcro holds well, even around my girthy frame, staying snug without shifting. The tension straps come with additional pads, letting me place support exactly where I need it—especially when I don’t want them pulled all the way to the front. I’ve struggled with those countless small twists and bends in the kitchen, reaching for cupboards and shelves, and this brace has really helped. Standing for long periods and making small movements feels much more manageable with it.

I have another back brace that I got at the doctor's office. This compares favorably to that one. It's comfortable, easily adjustable, and it breathes. It has covers over the hook-and-loop fasteners at the ends of the two tightening compression straps. I'm holding onto them for storage purposes. That way the hook-and-loop fasteners won't stick to anything I don't want it to stick to. If at any time you don't want or need the bionic lumbar spine support, you can remove it easily. It's also helpful to remove it for washing. The fabric is skin friendly and pleasant to the touch. That helps to make this brace far more usable. I also like that the color might be less noticeable if you choose to wear it under clothing. If you need it for the gym, it should fit easily into any gym bag.

The instructions that come with this are terrible. The steps are in the wrong order, and they do not mention the protective covers on the ends of the compression straps. Those covers look like they are meant to be there permanently, so it took me quite a while to figure this out. It almost got a one-star review because I was struggling with it (and would have said it was a piece of junk I could not figure out). My waist size is within the listed measurements, but it still feels a bit on the small side (fits, but just barely). I think it will help with my lower back pain from medical conditions, and it does seem to be well made.

I work on a computer daily so I do quite a bit of sitting. I found that if I wear this most of the day, I do not have the customary sore back. Normally I would have to spend a few minutes loosening my back up when I stood, but with this I found my back wasn't "stuck" in a sitting position. I also find that since I wear it on a regular basis now, when I do not have it on, I am still sitting straighter than I used to which is better for my back. Whether you have chronic back pain or just occasional stiffness and soreness, this is a great brace to have at home.

This back brace feels immediately more effective than some of the older back braces I had used. Like traditional back braces this one attaches around your abdomen with velcro. The feature that makes this one more effective is that it has straps you pull on after those are secured to cinch it down tighter offering more support. I felt more secure and like my back was more supported. There is also structure in the back that helps to isolate it so you do not move it inappropriately when lifting things or while your back is in spasm. Certainly helpful and more effective than the traditional style of back brace.
