I think it's pretty unfair someone gave this two stars because they thought it was a regular curling iron. Yes, it's a clipless iron and I'm the clumsiest person on the planet and can still use it without burning myself (knock on wood). My hair is long and already a combo of wavy/curly and is thin/fine in texture. I use this for a "beach" curl or just to add more loose curls and definition to my already wavy hair. It gives more defined style to already wavy hair so it's not so unkempt looking. For me, it's a time saver because I don't have to wash my hair everyday. Curling my whole head only takes about 10 minutes, if even, because it heats up fast and curls quickly. If you are looking for something to give you tight, spiral curls, this is not it. If you have naturally pin-straight hair or hair with very little texture to it already, I'm not sure how this would work for you. I don't think it would hold the curl without using a lot of product. Don't think it would work for hair above shoulder-length either as it's clipless and you need to have enough length to wrap and hold it around the wand. A couple of reviews mention using this as a straightener and I don't see how that's possible. The best use is for loose curls. It holds for quite a long time. You can go three days with your curl and just touch up on a daily basis with this iron and product. I love it and for the price, it's a steal.

Cheapest Price Found!
I an a hair stylist and this curling iron became a big interest for me because my hair is really really hard to curl and it does not stay at all I often curl people's hair that does not stay well either so it was really important for me to find a curling iron that was good quality and was going to be able to withstand lots of wear and tear over the years and have a great price and also get very very hot. As a licensed hair stylist I went to my local suppliers which were CosmoProf and I also went to salonCentric and they had this exact curling iron between 80 to 90 dollars and I did not want to spend that much on a curling iron but I definitely wanted to spend at least more than $30 because anything less wouldn't last long. I start searching for the curling iron online and there were lots of different sites and they offered it between 50 and 60 which was a better price, but then I went to Amazon because I knew that I could find certain things for a much cheaper price so when I was able to find this from a good seller for this price I was extremely thrilled and I bought it right away and I was really really happy with it. this is the exact curling iron that was at the store that I looked at and I was very happy with the way it was package it came very very fast in a nice big box and I'm just overall really thrilled. I have a babyliss straightener and a blow dryer that I have used for many years and I love them so very much they are definitely worth the quality I also am very happy with this because it lived up to my expectations and I knew that it was going to hold my hair because it is titanium and all of the titanium hair products that I have used have kept my hair in place which have been my hair dryer and my straightener so I'm very happy that I found this and I highly highly recommend, thank you so much to this seller!

Works on thick coarse hair
I love this product! I have thick, coarse textured hair that is super hard to curl. My hair stylist recommended trading in my traditional curls for beach waves due to the texture of my hair. Therefore, I started googling and watching YouTube videos. I tried a half dozen short cuts using hot rollers, pin curls, and flat irons, but none of those products achieved the look I wanted. After some more research, I learned that curling wands were the preferred tool and titanium was required for my thick hair. Knowing BaByLiss Pro was the only curling iron and flat iron that worked on my hair previously, I decided on this product. Glad I did. It is very easy to use. The rubber tip is wonderful for protecting oneself from burns. The curls stayed for 2 days with just a setting/heat protectant spray. Cord is super long, which is awesome. I do have mine set to 50 due to my hair texture. Caution - there is a learning curve to this tool, but it is worth it. Oh and no glove, but I didnt need it.

I like how it heats up fast and has the extra turbo heat button option. It curls hair great, and they last long without spraying it with hairspray. The only thing I dislike is no auto off option ..but that’s a preference and doesn’t impact the actual results of this wand lol I should of took a pic right when I was done, but I forgot.. the pic is from the end of a night out.. and I’m pretty impressed since we were at an outdoor mall outlet and a bar :)

Great tool to have low maintenance hair

I curl my messy slept on curly hair with this wand. Then I sleep on the wand curls and it still looks messy girl acceptable. If you want Emily in Paris curls, I’m sure you can get them, too. I use leave I conditioner and hair oil before air drying. Redken heat protectant on my dry hair just before curling. 10/10 recommend.

I didn't particularly like the curls that I got after using this want but I think I just need some time to get used to how to adjust the tightness of the curls. It does create great loose beach curls. I just haven't figured out how to get tighter curls. Great product the only con would be that it doesn't come with a glove to protect your hands, but the end is covered so you could actually touch the end without getting burned. I burned myself about three times using this iron so I would say I'm a beginner with the thicker wands and need to learn a bit more about techniques used to get different types of curls. The curling iron is a great product for an experienced user.

I actually have curly hair that I can wash and leave to dry. However, I can't blow-dry it or it frizzes and it takes several hours to dry = a massive pain. So, while I don't use this everyday, it is an amazing way for me to add curls. It heats up in around 2 minutes (at the highest temperature) and takes me 5 minutes to do my entire head of hair. It is also reallllly small and light, so sometimes I take it in my bag to work (especially since it cools down in about 10 minutes), if I have a function after, and I can spruce my hair up in 3 minutes. After a quick touch up, the curl lasts all night. You can use the far end to get a tight curl, or the far top for a big/loose curl, or space it out down the barrel for a natural look. You can leave them tight, they will actually hold!!, or you can run your fingers through some and get the perfect curl/beachy wave look. I also use this to make a really cute ponytail when I have no desire to have hair in my face all day. I absolutely love this product, in case you can't tell, and all for under $50!!!
