    • Best baby monitor!
This is an excellent baby monitor that doesn’t rely on WiFi! Unlike the WiFi models, this monitor is essentially “always on”. There is no need for you to pay attention to phone notifications, unlock your phone and launch an app any time you want to check up on your baby. The monitor will either turn on by itself if it detects a noise past a threshold you can set or you can simply press any of its buttons to immediately see what’s going on in the crib. The other big plus is the 2K resolution. You really want such high resolution not because you can see better, but because you can mount the camera further away from the baby’s head and then use digital zoom to see what’s going on without ending up with a blurry mess. Since this is a non-WiFi model, the strength of the FHSS-based signal is equivalent to what a typical WiFi *ROUTER* (not a client like a WiFi-enabled camera) emits. By placing the camera close to your baby you are essentially placing a WiFi router with maximum transmit power setting enabled. Combine that with the fact that baby skulls are much thinner and absorb a LOT more RF radiation than adult ones and you see why you should place this thing as far away as you can! ... show more

    • It was the best until it wasn't
I purchased this baby monitor for our daughter's nursury back in April 2023. It was perfect, great image, notificatons, and quality made this baby monitor a life saver (since the nursury is on the second floor and our master being on the first). We even purchased an additional camera for more viewing angles. Fast forward May 2024, we started getting connection issues with the main camera. It would disconnect and reconnect frequently. When it does, it makes a loud noise that would wake my daughter up. We tried reaching out directly to Kawa for support but nothing. I tried multiple troubleshoot but nothing worked. I even removed the camera from the monitor but for some reason I am unable to add it back. No worries, we still have the add-on right? We switch the add on camera to as the main cameral but as of writing this review, it is also disconnecting frequently. I tried resetting the Monitor, changing the charging cord, etc. Still nothing. I even tried unpairing the camera but now I am unable to add the back. At this point I am going to cut my loses and purchase another camera from a company here in the states. It really was a great monitor and I wish there was a way to fix the darn thing. Hopefully the manufacter read these reviews. ... show more

    • Excellent camera and customer support
This camera produces a clear, detailed image and crisp audio. It’s easy to set up— just plug and play. One of the best features is the ability to rotate the camera remotely to follow or search a room for a person (or thing). I used this feature many times when I was downstairs and the baby was upstairs. This is also one of the few cameras at this price point that enabled recording. (A separate memory chip is needed.) it was easy to record and playback. Finally, I wanted a system that was not Wi-Fi dependent. This camera works perfectly without the need to connect to wifi, and the range is long. This company has a fantastic customer service group that can be reached by email.
