My daughter’s sits on a shelf and I mounted my son’s to the side of his crib and they work great. You can play numerous lullabies, watch both kids, talk to them and the camera moves in all directions. If you’re looking for a good monitor this is it. Updated review: The product is amazing and so is the customer service! My 2 year old dropped the parent monitor and the antenna broke (no fault done by the company). I decided to call and see if I could get a replacement. The man was very friendly and sent me a replacement at no charge right away! I’m very pleased and impressed.     • Cost effective, good monitor with some room to improve!

EASY SET UP - We loved how this camera came with the parent unit and the 2 cameras set up. It was pretty straight forward to link the cameras initially since they were preinstalled. VIDEO QUALITY - Daytime view is pretty good, the night vision seemed slightly on the grainy side with compared to a similar camera from another company. PARENT UNIT - Split screen is a really good feature, however it only focuses on the middle of each camera in that mode so if baby moves, then you would have to select the individual camera to view them. You can choose to rotate the sounds coming from each camera or select one main camera to view on split screen. SOUND QUALITY - The sound on this unit is a lot clearer than other similar units from other brands. You would not need an audio monitor to communicate, the sound quality was that good. ZOOM - The zoom feature could do better. The image became excessively grainy when zoomed in on night mode making it a little challenging when trying to see if baby is breathing. EXTRA - It has additional features like white noise and night light, which worked really well. The only issue we had was when running white noise, since it comes out of the camera monitor, it is picked up by the mic and then the parent unit is constantly playing the noise in your room too unless you turn the sound off. That kind of defeats the purpose since you wouldn’t know if your child is crying. BOTTOM LINE - Overall, we liked the monitor but returned it since we were had signal issues between the rooms. It is a great price for a unit with two cameras and does the work plus has additional features like the night light which would be useful. ... show more

This monitor is a must have for parents with kids in multiple rooms. It is loaded with really cool and useful features and is easy to set up and use. These are some of the features that we really like: Split Screen –Allows us to monitor both rooms simultaneously without having to do anything Monitor wakes up when it detects motion – It’s nice to not have to leave the monitor lit all night. When the camera senses motion it “wakes up” the screen Night Vision – Surprisingly clear. No, it’s not military grade, but it is not designed to be Night Light – Nice extra feature. It’s nice to have a built in night light and not have to find another outlet. Swivel & Zoom – It rotates pretty much all the way around and the zoom feature works well. Let’s face it. Kids play with these things and it’s nice to not have to re-set it up the cameras every night. Audio Quality – Good on both ends. Have not had any issues with this. White Noise/Music – Nice to not have to have a separate device for this. Ease of Use – Even with all of its’ features, this device is really easy to use. Spent a few days combing through amazon reviews for a camera for my almost 2 year old, about to transfer to a toddle bed - this is a way better camera than I had for her as a newborn - the quality of the day time is awesome, the nighttime becomes grayscale basically but still very good - obviously not going to be like GoPro status (lol) but enough to see and understand what is going on in the room clearly. The swivel action is a dream, silent and not limited in direction.     • Battery Life is a Joke

We have two toddlers in separate rooms so the split screen feature is awesome to have. The picture quality is amazing and I love the temperature indicator on the screen. You can see your child perfectly even down to whether their eyes are opened or closed and breathing. Now onto the things I don’t love. The battery life is a joke. We put the babies to bed at 8:00 PM by 7:00 AM the battery is dying or completely dead already. Even with the ECO feature on where the monitor shuts off if no noise comes on the monitor for 30 seconds. The ECO feature is another annoying feature to this monitor. If you have a sound machine in your kids room, don’t even think about trying this feature. It registers every single sound even with the noise sensitivity set to come on only if a louder noise is heard. For example, a bug hit the outside of the bedroom window and turned the monitor on. The split screen feature is nice as well, however when using it, the monitor is so zoomed in with it that it cuts off half of each child so if they’re not centered in their bed forget about seeing their heads. However, you can set the monitor to loop between cameras every 10 seconds so the split screen feature isn’t really that important. All in all, I’m not planning on returning this monitor but I also wouldn’t recommend it either. I was definitely disappointed in the product after reading all of the great reviews. If they improved battery life and fixed the sensitivity issue then I would love it. ... show more
