I got the plain white one. Goes with everything and guaranteed to bounce off a lot of the sun by default due to color but great to see it's sun protection rating. It's a great little hat with some room to grow. My baby girl is almost 3mos and I love to garden, living in southern california head and eye protection are important outdoors especially for baby, this is wide enough to pop on real quick and does both. I don't usually use the straps (it's quicker and less likely to aggravate baby if I just leave it in the back of her head to allow her to get used to it and keep positive associations with it, but it's nice to know it's there for windy days. EDIT: baby girl is 5 months and it fits perfectly. We've also since gone to the beach and on walks and a hike with her in my carrier, in those situations I used the adjustable strap. I read someone say they had a hard time keeping in on due to wind...it gets VERY windy in the places I mentioned above and it stayed on fine, the key for me was to have the straps go BEHIND HER EARS and THEN securing the rest of the length under her chin... I love this hat so much I'm considering having another panel added and wider brim as she grows, everyone thinks it's adorable and she seems very comfortable in it🤗👍🏾💕👶🏼💕

The fabric was essentially denim, so not something I'd want on my kid on a hot, humid day. There was also no outer drawstring (despite the product description) to snug up the fit and help ensure the hat stays on. The brim itself was also not very wide. Giving 2 stars as I guess it could work okay for some applications, like on tiny infants who need sun protection on cool days.

I want to love it, but it just doesn't stay in place. I secure it to where it is isn't going to choke baby, but doesn't have much extra give and yet it always slides over baby's eyes. On the positive side, it does serve its function and covers the sun from baby's eyes.

Such a cute hat! It definitely runs a tiny bit small, so it would fit the lower end of each sizing group perfectly. (12-18 month fits 12 month) It is easy to wash & very soft, with an adjustable chin strap. It also works great when swimming because the material is somewhat water resistant, so it doesn’t completely get wet.

This was a gift for a baby shower so I can't say how well it fits, but I did have to leave it out for a few days to eliminate the strong sort of "chemical smell, and I was disappointed that it didn't have any tags on it so it was obvious to the recipient that it was new. There is no adjustable elastic for the head. I specifically bought this hat because it was supposed to be adjustable. I decided to keep it because it's only a little loose on my 2 month old (her head circumference is about 41 cm), and it will fit her fine as summer progresses. I like that the brim is wide; it shields her well. However, I wouldn't buy it for a baby under 2 months because it likely won't fit.
