I wanted to love this travel bassinet. It is so super convenient, sturdy, and a great design for folding up and traveling; however, I had to return it because it was way too narrow. I tried it with my 3-month-old preemies and it was just too small. If they made it wider, it would be a 5 star product. It doesn’t leave room for babies to lay out their arms to sleep. Since my LO hated the pack and play we needed an alternative. This was the perfect option. We use this bassinet for daytime naps downstairs and for our travel. It easily fit in the airplane as a carry on item and below the airplane seat. The storage sack can also fit some baby items when traveling like diapers and burp cloths. I use this inside of a mini crib, since I wasn’t quite ready for my baby to be in a crib just yet and we are limited on space. It fits perfectly with room on all sides and it’s not up against any railing. The mesh siding is flexible and makes me worry less about suffocation. I recently just used this when traveling and it worked great. I put it in the middle of the bed (king size) and it was sturdy and remained comfortable for my little one. The only thing I did not like was the original mattress. I suppose it’s purpose to be a travel mattress is sufficient, however, it was too flimsy for a bassinet sheet. I packed this light but durable and safe bassinet with me on a week stay up in the mountains and it was a lifesaver. I didn’t want to take a pack n play and this was an easy alternative for my child. I personally wish I bought this sooner because I’m thinking of all the months that went by that I could of had this in my car ready to pull out Gould we need when visiting loved ones in their home. My baby outgrew this at 2.5 months old. The length was fine but width is too narrow. My baby is very active & kept hitting the sides and would try to twist self into a Pretzel whenever I placed her in it. I would find her wedged sideways in the mesh.
