This is a really cute dress! I’m short, I’m 5’3” and typically wear a size 4/small in dresses. I’m athletic with a short torso. This dress has a drop waist I ordered a size 6 which is a size up from what I would normally order and I’m having to exchange it for a size 8. The drop waist was tight around my hips and made the torso portion bunch up. The drop waist needs to fit loosely for a correct look and fit. For what it’s worth Amazon’s recommended size was a size 2 which would not have fit my chest/upper back area.

I love this dress! It is so pretty and so comfortable. Surprisingly both the over and underlayer of fabric are a little stretchy, so I don't even need to use the zipper to put this on or take it off. It is so comfortable, so light, yet well lined, and has a timeless look to it! The size charts provided are a little inaccurate in my opinion. I would recommend buying your usual dress size and if you are ever in-between sizes you should go up one size in this dress. Everything about this is just as shown in the photos and description, I can't imagine anyone not being pleased with this! It is so cute and flattering, well made, properly tailored, and the result is simply fabulous! 100% recommended

This is such a cute dress but I thought it was a little bit snugger than I expected. I'm always a size 6 at 5'4" and 130lb, 34D and it was snugger around the hips and chest than I expected. It's a lovely chiffon material and has a nice, matching lining. I like the handkerchief bottom and was amazed by the workmanship throughout.

I got this 1920s style dress as a costume, but like it as a normal dress, so will be wearing it in my everyday life. There is a side zipper running from underneath the arm to a bit below the natural waist; however, the dress is loose enough that I don't use the zipper and just slide the dress on/off over my head fully zipped. I ordered my usual size, not based on the size chart. Had I ordered based on the size chart, I would have ordered one or two sizes down (as always not all measurements correspond to a single size, at least for me). However, I am glad that I ordered the size which I did as it really fits in a flattering style. The fabric is a thinner polyester chiffon (and a thick knit polyester lining). Much to my surprise, the dress has a tag which says, "Do not wash / Do not bleach / Do not tumble dry / Do not iron, " and also, "Spot clean / No direct steam or heat." That was a surprise. What good is a dress which you can't wash? So, I did what I normally do in a situation like this, I ignored the labels. I am pleased to report that after taking a spin in the washer on a cold/delicate load in a lingerie bag and then being hung to drip dry, it came out looking just as good as before. The dropped waist band came wrinkled and flipped up in one section and after the washing it continued to be that way, so I did take a coolish iron to the wet fabric and ironed the dress...going against yet another of the instructions, but it turned out fine though.
