The media could not be loaded. I was very excited to get this baby for my 3 year old. She is absolutely adorable in the pictures. Don’t get me wrong, she’s cute in person but to me she doesn’t quite look like the pictures. She’s close but the details just aren’t there. She does have a generically cute face and her hair is soft and long though a bit thin. She has decent rooting with no obvious bald spots like other dolls I’ve seen in this price range but her hair is quite thin and I wasn’t able to recreate the fluffy curly look in the stock photos. She has large cute eyes that seem darker blue than the pictures. Her outfit is adorable and well made and fits her well if not a bit snug. Her eyelashes a bit too long and dense to look natural. She has too little baby teeth on the bottom that are just painted the color of her mouth so that’s a little weird. She has some very light veining and polished nails with nail tips which are pretty well done overall. I’ve seen much worse! Her sculpt is pretty basic and lacking any realistic features. She has what I call “pudding” hands and feet because they are basic store bought fare and completely lacking realistic details. I definitely wouldn’t call this doll a “reborn.” She’s cute for a child but I have seen cuter store bought dolls for a much lower price and would probably recommend those over this. The only bonus is her high quality adorable outfit and her ability to take her included magnetic pacifier. She comes with a fake baby bottle and the same two cheap rattles that all of Babeside’s dolls ship with. She is a good quality doll, just not to my or my daughter’s liking as it’s not really a reborn.

I have several nieces and they love these Babeside Reborn dolls. They are so realistic and the attention to detail is perfection. I ordered this 20 inch doll for my 7 yr old niece for her birthday and I have to say she is the prettiest of the 3 dolls I have purchased in the past. She has beautifully curled auburn hair, blue eyes and the prettiest face with pink cheeks. She even has eyelashes and what looks like realistic nails on her hand and feet. She’s just so pretty and very life like. The cloth body is entirely stuff (with no body parts like some) and the vinyl arms and legs are partially flexed as if she is in a sitting position but they are not posable. Included are several accessories, a little pink onesie, a one piece pink daisy bib shorts, a diaper, bottle, two silicone rattles, a hospital wrist band and a birth certificate. Most of these dolls also include a magnetic pacifier that attaches to a magnet on their lips and mouth so it appears as though they are sucking on a pacifier, it’s so darn cute! This Reborn doll is extremely nice quality for the price point. Most dolls at the $40-50 price range have painted or just a little tuft of hair whereas this doll has beautiful, rooted long hair. She is also a few inches bigger than the other dolls I have purchased. If there was one or two things I wish they would add to this Reborn and most reborn would be posable arms and legs so they could truly sit them up in a chair or lay them flat to sleep and also make eyes that blink, both would make the doll more natural and even more life like. My niece spends hours playing with her Reborn baby dolls, every single one has a name and a little crib. I can’t wait to gift her this baby girl, I know she will be loved just as much as all the others!

Most adorable baby doll! She has such a sweet angelic face, showing the quality and care that was put into making her. Her soft body makes her great for kids. Great size and lightweight. She has beautifully smooth long brown hair that is fun to brush. She comes wearing a pink onesie, pink overalls with white daisies, headband to match, and white socks. She also comes with 2 rattles, a bottle, magnetic pacifer, a diaper, hospital band, and birth certificate. She is a perfect addition for any doll lover.

This toddler reborn style doll is quite adorable in appearance. Beautiful face, eyes, hair and an almost perfect outfit (the socks are too big, but always are it seems). If I was only reviewing based on initial appearance she would have been a five star doll. But unfortunately, that’s not when we land when other things are considered. Her hair is lovely BUT this is the only doll with hair, out of the dozens I’ve ordered, that did not come with a protective hair net on in the box. She was a disheveled mess upon arrival. This is a soft body doll with vinyl head, arms and legs. Her legs are extremely difficult to rotate at the hip - you really have to work at it. The plastic tie tabs are uncovered at her neck, arms and legs. These are typically covered by a small piece of cloth on good quality dolls. Her legs are positioned with her knees bent at a 90 degree angle; she can sit but is very limited on other poses. The “reborn” details you would expect are not there in some places. Her feet and hands do not have the realistic detailing I see in other dolls. Her limbs and her head are very hollow and collapse with a minimal squeeze. Of course it is not recommended that you squeeze the head, especially since the doll eyes could dislodge. (I removed the pic of the head squeeze- realized it might be upsetting to some). I’m not in favor of doll squeezing, but we all know how tightly a child squeezes during an excited hug. The doll will get squeezed, so I test that out. It also gives a sense for how “realistic” does the doll feel? Real babies don’t collapse from a snuggle. The last issue is that unfortunately this doll smells intensely of glue (that’s the chemical type smell I get). The smell might go away if I put her outside for a few days….but that’s not a practical solution for everyone. The one you receive may NOT smell. I have gotten other dolls before that reviewers claimed smelled terrible, but mine was fine. The doll is currently listed at approximately $50 (along with a $5 coupon). In general, it seems doll prices have increased this year, but at $50 the value just isn’t here.
