This baby is cuddly and has sweet sleeping expression, but if I had studied the photos more I would not have picked him. The listing mentions “cloth body” several times. I’ve order a LOT of dolls…silicone body, vinyl body and cloth body. In almost every case the arms, hands, legs and feet are made of silicone or vinyl. The cloth part is typically just the torso (which I prefer because it makes a more cuddly baby). If you look through all of the pictures you find out that for this doll, “cloth body” means from the neck down. The baby has no hands or feet. Just stuffed cloth stumps. With the clothes off the dolls looks very disconcerting. I’ve gotten dolls that had cloth arms and legs but they still had vinyl hands and feet. This one is a first for me, and hopefully the last time I make that mistake. The lifelike details of the hands and feet are an important feature on “reborn” style dolls. If they lack those they should be priced more like a regular doll. Unless you’ve thoroughly looked at the photos and this baby doll is what you’re looking for, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Be sure to look at the fourth photo in the row, as that's the only one that shows the whole body. The doll measures 20 inches, is proportionately stuffed, and still has joints to move the limbs and head. The coloring is nicely painted and the eyelashes are evenly hand rooted. It comes with the outfit shown, which is a soft, stretchy knit that snaps up the front. One thing I don't like is when they put pink paint up the nostrils; it ends up looking like dried blood, but it can be removed if you use a Q-tip for several minutes. I think the listing should mention that this is a mostly cloth doll. Some customers may overlook the one photo. Overall, it's a lovely doll that can be a boy or girl, and I recommend it. The doll comes in a sweet box with all of the accessories shown in the listing, all in good condition. Being so soft, this doll may be a good choice for younger kids as well.

The doll is a full cloth except the head, these dolls are to use for therapeutic purposes. It’s nice and soft and cuddly limbs are movable. The dolls can only wear full sleepers due to their arms /hands and legs/ feet are cloth.
