I love this product and I've tried many. My skin is very fair and this works great giving me the loveliest color. Back to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS...I read a bunch of reviews and sounds to me that many of you didn't read. Yes, this product is green and no, your skin will not turn green. I always use a thin layer of lotion on elbows, inner elbows (keep your arms straight after application until your skin no longer feels tacky), same with your throat. Use a thin layer of lotion on your ankles, wrists and toes as well. I use a soft makeup brush for toos of my feet &toes, face and tops of hands, but I only use product that remains on mitt. If you don't have a mitt, buy one or two. They're cheap. After I finish application I turn on my ceiling fan and an oscillating fan (I'm always too warm anyway) and stay put either standing or sitting with legs straight on edge of a chair. I do this for a good 15 mins then put on my black tank top and black shorts (disignated for tanning days) or go straight to bed naked. I've never had any staining on my sheets. Repurchased! I use a mitt and leave the tan on for 12 hours usually. I’m quite fair, and one coat is the perfect level for me, but I’ll sometimes double up if I want a deeper look. It feels natural and doesn’t look to orange, nor does it streak unless you’re doing something wrong. This tan absolutely does not last “forever” - I’d say it’s faded after about 4 days showering regularly. That being said, it’s so cheap and the bottle lasts me a year. ... show more

I have used many different self tanning products and this line is my favorite. This is my first time using this specific product though. During application I noticed the mousse was a green color l. That caught me off guard bc I have always thought that self tanning products turn green once they have expired. I didn’t have very high hopes based on the green tint of my skin but luckily once I rinsed it off the green went down the drain and I was left with a natural looking “dark” tan. I still believe the bottle I got has to be on the older side and it probably won’t last much longer but the effect of the product was just what I wanted so I can’t really complain. ... show more

I have loved this self tanner for a long time. Was thrilled to see it offered on Amazon. The icing on the cake is that they are offering the bundled set. The mitt is a godsend, no more orange hands or sticky rubber gloves AND two bottles are better than one! There's no major scent to these products. They dry fairly quickly. As long as you exfoliate prior to use and prep your joints and dry skin, it looks so real. If youre looking for a self tanner, or a self tanner newbie, I suggest trying this product bundle. I originally tried using a self tanner for the first time and had chosen the b.tan clear version first and was highly impressed. Exfoliating and moisturizing before application was very important but the level of tan I achieved and naturalness made me want to explore options that would last longer. I noticed this product by the same company, which claims to last 11 days. I am at a maintenance point so upon receiving the product, I followed the instructions to a T. It is a dark green almost black foam that will stain your palms but Dawn dish soap works wonders. Because it requires completely dry moisturized skin, you have to use quite a few pumps of foam and work it quickly into your skin, being careful to not make it streaky. It dries very quickly. I waited over an hour to try and achieve a darker color (says can leave on up to 4 hours and can also reapply another layer), then took a shower to wash it off. It makes the water very green if you take a bath. At this point of my self tanner journey I am not super impressed with this one, and I’m actually going to buy another bottle of the clear option because it seemed to be more even and didn’t dry my skin out after application. At this point I’m using not only an after shower oil, but heavy quality body cream as well and my skin is still drier than normal. This has caused the foam tanner to make patchiness and unevenness overall. Crook of my inner elbow creases are much lighter and my feet are so patchy I’m grateful I’m already back from vacation and live somewhere in which it’s still very winter like weather. My skin is naturally very smooth and hair free as I’m Asian, so this dryness is new to me. Because I’ve used both types back to back, I can’t completely be sure it’s caused by the foam but I did finish the full bottle of the clear version first and don’t recall issues. It just took a lot of maintenance. Also, the color it achieves is not the same base like the clear. It’s almost like it takes upon some of the stain from the actual foam, instead of being more of a darker tan brown slight orange undertone. I really like this tan option. I have my husband rub me down with it and then let it sit overnight before washing it off. Didn't have any issues with it coming off on the sheets and the tan looked great. Heads up, it does create a darker tan though FYI.

I think as long as you apply with a mitt you won’t be disappointed. I am so happy with this product. I didn’t look orange. Applied one coat and slept in it over night. Looked great and even. Did it two days before Easter and everyone asked me if I have been tanning. 😁 Side note, I feel like it does smell like a spray tan and it took two showers to get that smell off me. ... show more
