Update 3/25/2020: The seller reached out to me and offered to send a replacement for the broken light, without even requiring me to return those. Very thorough, with frequent follow-up emails and updates. It takes time to deliver things across the globe, especially now, with the planet in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The replacement arrived, in great shape, packed well beyond what such a small box required. All lights are now installed and working. As much as i was unhappy about manufacturing quality mishaps, the seller's proactiveness and follow-through more than made up for that. Very happy with purchase! Original Review: Very nice color and warm light. Pleasant "bubbles in glass" head appearance. Unfortunately, very, very flimsy. First day after installation, my dog brushed against one of the lights and snapped it off base. Upon inspection, I noticed that a thin metal tube, serving as leg for lamp (0.375" O.D.) inserts into a shallow plastic sleeve, which is part of base spike. These do not appear to be molded as one piece, but rather heat "welded" together. Even if indeed molded as one piece, the plastic compound used is rigid and fragile. Once the spike is in the ground, any side pressure on lamp makes it behave as a fulcrum, snapping the base right off. After my dog broke one, I did the same thing, on the same day. I was assembling patio chairs and pushed the pillow, sitting on ground, away from me. Apparently, pushing against the light a little was enough... Final problem. Light tubing is 3/8" in diameter, whereas almost all standard landscape lights are 1/2", with threaded bottom. There are plenty of replacement spikes available on Amazon, just none for the 3/8" O.D. tube, not to mention without thread. Moreover, with lights hardwired in series, almost all spikes, regardless of design, cannot be slid on - wire is in the way. ... show more

These lights are really bright, more so than where we wanted to put them. They are nicely made, and look sturdy, but they do get hot. I don’t know if that would be a problem as I am returning them because they were too bright for our purpose. In the description, it talks about the “plug” not being water proof (or something like that). They are talking about the wall-wart power plug in; the individual connectors between the lights are very secure and water proof. ... show more
