Description

Replacement Wooden Bed Rails One Pair (left & right) Bed rails are made of laminated engineered wood, 7 layers of wood, layers are compressed in a heated glued process creating a strong bond. Bed rails are top edge banded in maple, fully sanded with trimmed smooth edges. The cleats are machined, pre-drilled, glued and fastened with 9) 8 x 1-1/2" screws per rail. The end hooks are installed with our patented machine process. Back of rail and cleat has basic stain or sealer color. Please note: bed rails must be installed with mattress supports.

I purchased a headboard and footboard on FB marketplace and the side rails were too short for my queen matress. I ordered the 80" long and it''s the perfect length. I went with the walnut color and it match vey well with the stain of the bed. It was easy to install, I did it myself in a matter of minutes. The quailty is good, however I did think it was a little bit pricey. The product does have a chemial smell probably from the stain/varnish finish. Luckily I can close the bedroom door to let the order disapate over time. If you don't have the luxury of closing the door, I would open the box in the garage and let it air out for a week or so before bringing in your home. ... show more

The natural finish was more "natural" than expected but purely cosmetic and can be stained or hidden and the length is perfect. I measured several times before ordering so anyone assuming the length needed and complaining in reviews should have taken the time to measure.
