It's actually a very nice keyboard. It's slim, the mouse is slim. But the keyboard, it's not clacky. You know what I mean. It clicks when you type, but not like the clacky keyboards. It's a softer clack. It's shipped with a keypad cover. I use the keypad cover when there's a risk of crumbs, spillage, etc. It's a soft cover. (So, if I'm using it usually.) But the keyboard keys nicely and the mouse mouses as it should.

This is a nicely designed keyboard, similar in look to Apple keyboard but it had issues connectivity issues with my Mac Mini. It never fully functioned and the fact that it has to be wired for charging while not tragic, coming from a completely battery powered, bluetooth keyboard was a bit problematic as I am not used to plugging my keyboard in for charging everyday and I must admit would forget. If you are diligent about this process, then the keyboard would work for you.

I was very impressed with the mouse that came with this assembly. The mouse is lightweight in design and very agile with movement on the screen. Clicking the mouse takes little force, which is great when considering that many of us work from home and do the same tasks frequently on the computer. The roller on the top of the mouse is great for scanning a document or moving through an entire document quickly. I am still working on figuring out what the top middle button on the mouse is for. The USB device communicates well with the mouse and keyboard. It stays connected the entire time. The battery life was awesome; however, I do recommend that you use a premium battery for both the mouse and the keyboard to get the maximum benefit of long use. The keyboard was ok. They quieted the keyboard by placing a large plastic film over it. It is easy to remove the plastic molded film to make the keyboard louder. I have experienced quieter keyboards, however. I was not happy with the backspace button being smaller than I am normally used to; the backspace button is small and right beside it is the delete button an appetite for disaster when you are not looking at the keyboard. I had to retrain my hand to go a shorter distance. Overall the keyboard is relatively quiet, however, some of the important keys like backspace and tab could have been made larger. The design of the mouse is awesome and the battery life is good too.

I have two (2) of these keyboards. The first one was purchased because it is compact enough to fit into my 15" laptop case (the full size Logitech "sticks out" of the side of the case). I liked it so well that I purchased another one as my regular desktop keyboard. I like that it is compact and takes up less desktop space, the low profile makes it easy to type on. The mouse is low profile and works well. The keys and mouse wheel have a good feel to them. The overall ethos is like the Apple compact input devices. As a bonus, all of the mouse/keyboard freeze and lag that I was experiencing with the Logitech set went away (the Logitech still had the problem after reinstalling drivers). Although I don't use the cover much, it would be very useful in the kitchen or garage; but it does reduce the feel somewhat. I suspect that this would be quite a bit less durable than larger, more expensive, brand name keyboards - so taking out your frustrations on your keyboard while tying an email to political representatives is probably not advised.

I purchased this keyboard and mouse to accompany a new monitor that I have my computer attached to. Which the keyboard works great, and I have no concerns, the mouse only works 30% or less of the time. It's often slow to start working, I need to turn it off or on frequently, and it lags and often needs to be reset and it still rarely works. This would have been a five star purchase if the mouse worked alongside the keyboard.
