In its natural form, as is common to Apple products, it is a beautiful device, with finely sculpted lines and a solid yet slim feel. The main reason I put off getting a case was that I didn't want to lose the slimness and light weight of the MacBook. Then I saw this case. I finally decided to try out this case to see if it preserved the MacBook Air's slimness and lightness. The B Belk case preserved both the slimness and lightness while at the same time reducing its slipperiness. Scupted, rubberized feet help it stay put on lap desks, blankets, tables, etc. The matte finish preserves the appearance of the device while also making it less slippery in hand. A couple of nice bonuses were the included film screen protector and the keyboard protector, which has both US (with the half-size arrow keys) as well as international keyboards (full size keys where the arrows are on the US version) covered. The key covers provided merely lay on top of the keyboard and can be accidentally pulled up and out of place if your fingers are moist. If it could be adhered to the surface, it should make it water resistant, but I didn't care for the difference in the feel of the keyboard, and it was easier to mistype with it on, so I don't use this part of the case, and I would not judge its inclusion as giving an edge to one case over another, as I prefer a "naked" keyboard. As shown in the pictures, it leaves perfect room for the ports, both Thunderbolt ports and headphone jack, fits skin tight except where ventilation is needed, and protects all vulnerable corners and edges. Installation was intuitive and easy. I ha e had it on my MacBook Air for over a week now and have had zero issues. It came shrink-wrapped and covered with a removable protective coating, facilitating a clean installation. The mirrored finish of the MacBook Apple logo on the screen back is less visible with the case on, but the logo itself is still very visible. It is difficult to tell that a case is installed, since the original finish is so similar in luster. Before you order, be sure to check your model number on your MacBook Air. The first photo is where to find it on the bottom side of the MacBook in fine print. Use your phone's camera and take a zoomed-in picture if you have trouble seeing it. The model number is also available in system settings.

This case will not fit a newer model of macbook air. I currently have a 2023 edition M2 chip 13 inch. The material however feels strong and sturdy. I like that it comes with two different keyboard covers. This has a matte finish, no glitter or pattern present.

I love the matte finish and texture, it was easy to snap on. I feel so much better carrying my laptop around the office and house with this cover. It's still a slim fit and will prevent any dents or scratches. My only downside is that the keyboard cover didn't come with adhesive, I had some left over from another keyboard cover that I used to stick down some major keys. It is a good fit, but I don't want it to slip around while I type.
