These were my first dip powder nail set. The jars are small but there is plenty of powder to do many sets. I have realized that when you use this specific powder it tends to lay down very thick coats. So you will have to file off the extra powder. When I use clear dip powder I have to redip many times to get the desired thickness. With two dips on each nail these get pretty thick. I really like the fact that you can mix the colors as well. I do wish that the liquid came in bigger bottles but this kit works very well ... show more

Pros: A lot of variety for your money with this kit and comes with everything you need for a first time dip kit. Cons: 1. Dip reservoir is extremely flimsy and made of very thin plastic, any pressure and it will collapse and I suspect will tear after a couple uses. It is also very static prone, so powder was hard to empty out again. I was hoping to use this as a "travel set" but it's too flimsy. The acrylic reservoir that came with my first KISS kit is amazing, I would highly recommend getting a kit from that brand to start out. 2. Colors are vastly different from the pictures, and the color change is extremely subtle, especially on the blue/purple. I have had other color change powders so wasn't expecting the images from the product description to be wholly accurate, but was still disappointed. 3. The glitter. The glitter is obnoxiously large in both the blue and purple. It obscures most of the color change in those colors and leaves a very rough/lumpy nail. All of these need a layer of clear dip over them to be smooth but the blue and purple feel like sandpaper without it. Bottom line, the only way I would keep this set was if I could somehow filter the glitter out and have just the color powder. Disappointing to say the least and I will be returning. ... show more

I love that this dip changes color while putting on and when you wash your hands. The blueish purple is closer to a blue and turns purple when cold. The orange was reddish at one poinf but had not changed colors since I applied it. The one thing I don’t like about it is the large glitter pieces/ too much glitter but overall I am satisfied. ... show more

This makes a mess while doing it and it is difficult to get good coverage with the powder. This takes longer to apply and doesn't look great when done. It also requires same methods to remove as gel polish which is something I wanted to avoid when I bought this.
