This is a top notch power inverter for almost any need, like a laptop, smartphone, small tv you will need Two 20V batteries for this, it also has a bright LED Light which also transmits SOS also charges the batteries, pretty handy to have definitely recommend this, I keep this in my truck, myself I use Waitley Batteries rated as good as Dewalts batteries

I'm giving this a generally good score despite it's inability to charge newer Dewalt batteries of the DCB203 variety. Overall it's a good product, it's versatile, easy to use and seems sturdy. Unfortunately for me, I wanted to use this along with a battery I have that charges from solar and outputs 5v, my plan was to use that to power small devices off the inverter, but that won't work: the inverter will only function off the power of the batteries. So the closest you could do to that end is charge the batteries from 5v, then use those to power the inverter. I do not think someone could automate that, it seems like you would have to press the power button sometimes to cycle if it's in charging mode or discharge/inverter mode, and when you do you'd have to unplug the 5v supply so it doesn't feed power from the dewalt packs back to the power source that just charged them. The issues won't affect most users though I think, they're just what I was hoping to do with this. In a perfect world, this would allow 5v supply to both charge the batteries and run the inverter, and none of that process would involve interacting with the device after it was setup. Guess I'll need a different setup to accomplish that, but this was so close. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this for most people needing a versatile charger/inverter like this. Hopefully they can get it working with DCB203 model batteries (the small 2.0ah type). Until then it would be nice if the description explicitly stated that they will not work with them, so people can know what they're getting.

It works but has a flaws. 1. The led Indicator light is held in place by a barely sticky sticker that easily comes loose any the wire pushes the LED board out and away from the housing. 2. The text on the device is printed in white and has almost not contrast to the green which it's printed on so it's very difficult to see. 3. There's no click when you mount a batteries so you don't know when they're secure.

I am impressed so far. I hope the quality lasts. I will update if it doesn't. I used it to power a 20 inch box fan during a power outage. I did not try to recharge batteries on it because I don't have a big enough usb charger. I used 2-6 ah Dewalt batteries for the fan and it switched the battery when the first went low. Nice

Excellent quality! It can power small appliances during power outages. I plan to use it to power my laptop and WiFi when the grid is down. Also, its USB-C 140W port can power my air pump and provide nighttime lighting when I'm camping. It can provide 110V power for short periods, and two 6A batteries can power most appliances in the house. I like it.
