Very easy to open, just pop it open ..closing is easy if u follow directions. Important to place foot at base when twisting gently....several videos are available. I closed it it about 5 x for practice so it would be easy and quick....love this tent size! Bought the rain cover for eXtra protection. (No more fumbling with metal rods- like other tents)....this tent is the winner. Also for storage, tiny footprint, like the size of a small hula hoop...completely flat. Love that as well. What we like: 1. Super easy and quick setup and folding back 2. Two doors. It gets hot inside quickly under the sun and the two doors can get quick air flow to cool down. 3. Skylight is a beautiful must have for stargazing! What needs to improve: 1. The fabric is not totally waterproof. More dense fabric is needed. It’s ok with some drizzling rain. But after an overnight rain, the inside starts to drip and the floor starts to get wet at all edges. 2. The window shades is hard to operate from inside. It’s better to have curtains inside and the screen outside. 3. No instructions on how to setup those medal rods. Overall a great product that’s good for dry and small rain conditions. ... show more

Setting up - This thing was so easy to setup it did all the work for us on this aspect. I bought this for bonnaroo(a music festival) with my boyfriend. setting up the tent was his thing and he nailed it down as well which felt very secure but the both ends did pop up off the ground a little bit but that didn’t really make a difference or matter to us space- We fit a blow up full size mattress in it and some clothes etc I would say we could have fit a queen size in it but we wouldn’t have had any extra space by doing so. This is definitely not a luxurious tent and would not try to squeeze more than two people. Wind resistance- Great! Maybe too great. Even with all of the windows and doors on both sides heat was TRAPPED it was so hot in there it felt like you were suffocating and sitting in an oven. Keep in mind though this was in Tennessee heat in June so it would get up to around 100F. And at night we would be freezing so take that as you will keeping out bugs the screens were great at this one no bugs would come in unless you open the screens Water resistance you know i am not entirely sure on what to say about this one. The rain wouldn’t get in and i wouldn’t say any of our stuff was drenched. but it rained when we used it a little bit(no downpour) and we would seam up our tent well but all of our stuff including the bed would be very damp and we definitely got a little bit sick from having to sleep in the damp cold tent at night. packing up packing up was a little more difficult and we were afraid of breaking it when we had it to bend and fold it up. a few times we thought for sure we were going to break it. but we didn’t! its all about being gentle with it and finding the soft points in it. it maybe took 15 minutes? overall- I want to say better things about this. This would be good for a one night trip. maybe a weekend. I really wouldn’t use it for another week long trip like i took. maybe i would use it for an extended trip if it trapping humidity in it wasn't a problem. Maybe go for a tent slightly bigger so it has more ventilation. I really did enjoy how its a pop up though and I wish i could find some larger tents that were also pop ups! ... show more

Very nice tent for the price. It's huge, easy to install and fold. The "window" on the top is awesome for stargazing, surprisingly waterproof too. The roll-up shades are a bit difficult to use. The main concern is the very thin floor material, you have to be really careful not to rip it, so say you don't want to bring a chair with sharp legs in it. Once folded it is still huge, doesn't fit in the trunk of a small sedan/hatchback, certainly won't be able to hike with it. ... show more

Easiest Trent to set up ever. It takes a bit of thinking to get it figured righted small enough to fit back in the bag, so try it out at home instead of waiting till you have to make camp in the dark and/or rain. My husband didn’t read the measurements, so although lightweight, the circular case is too big to comfortably carry on a motorcycle, but we took it on a rafting trip and it was awesome. ... show more

Easy to set up. I actually managed the folding process fine but practiced ahead of time. For a summertime camping with little weather fluctuations it is a great little tent. However, in a real rain storm, it barely held up. We managed to stay dry in the center of the tent but the edges began to collect water. If it had been really windy, we would have been soaked. The material itself was waterproof to a certain extent, but the seems and screens provided a few entry points and just couldn’t hold up under the amount of rain. In addition, once it was wet, the windows and rain fly stuck to the tent itself and sealed us in…providing no entry for fresh air. In general, I like the tent for mild weather. This was super easy to use and set up. Comes just like in the picture. Easy to put away once you understand how to. The bag worked as a backpack as well. Best choice for camping.
