Purchased this on Prime Day at a great price. After first power up and initial set up I conected to internet via eithernet and it went through three update cycles for Win 11. It is slow to boot to Win 11 login at 20 sec., once loged in it is snappy in most tasks. The base speed is 800 but it auto accelerates to 1. 2 as needed so the unit is energy effecent. I got a free warrenty upgrade to 3 years so it should last that long at least. I only use a single monitor with this mini pc but it is capible of two. I do not run any games with this unit only routine home/office needs and some video conferance. I'm satisfied but not wowed after two weeks of daily use. ... show more

I purchased the AWOW AK10 to replace an earlier version, the AWOW AK41. This AK10 offers a better processor as well as more memory and has expandability with connections for an additional SATA drive and an SD card reader. I am using it with my Sony 4K television connected with the HDMI 2.0 port. This port is an upgrade- better than the HDMI ports on the previous model. I can stream 4K videos with no problems. The PC is also connected to my Roon server for music streaming and works great. This mini PC can handle any basic computing needs with no problems and could easily be a "daily driver". Though I am not a gamer, the AK10 should easily handle light gaming but more intense 3D games would probably struggle. I am certain that if your main purpose was 3D gaming you would be looking for a more powerful PC! This comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and does not have a type C port but does offer a display port for multiple screens. As a media center, this computer fits all my needs! I am thinking of using the SATA drive for an Android operating system, which would open more applications. The support staff at AWOW are fantastic, and there to answer any questions or concerns you may encounter. i was gonna use it for gaming when i realized it wouldn't turn on after a while i got it to turn on and it barely worked. I would love to say you pay for what you get but i feel like you could buy something cheaper and get something better, please dont waste your time or money getting this cause even if you send it back it takes 30 days to get your money and they might charge a fee. ... show more

I purchased this for use as an opnsense router for use with my gigabit internet. CPU and RAM, it's way overkill, and performance from these modern embedded CPUs is just insane for how little power they use. Unfortunately, it uses Realtek NICs instead of Intel NICs and so it can't quite manage actual gigabit speeds, more like 700-800Mbps, instead of the 950Mbps or so I could get with my previous router. It doesn't really matter, but it's just something to be aware of. Construction feels cheap but good enough, and it's a good value. Hopefully it holds up. But I would have liked to see the same model with Intel NICs and I would have been willing to pay an extra $20 for that feature. ... show more
