I hardly ever give a negative product review (I usually just don't say anything if I can't say anything nice), but this paper was so disappointing. I'm mocking up a product prototype, so I wasn't looking for professional quality results. I just wanted to test different designs and a mock up helps me do that. This paper is, in a word, unusable. I can't think of a single use-case where it would work. It's not glossy, and it's not matte. Instead, it feels like sandpaper, or like someone sprayed hairspray all over it and it got etched in. Also, it feels a bit sticky, again, like it was sprayed with something. You can also see this texture, and it looks awful. Basically, it looks dirty. I printed on it nonetheless (again, I'm ok with some issues as it's just a prototype mock up). The printing was no issue. The ink did smudge a bit (ink jet). Again, this wasn't much of an issue for my project, but it would be for most. I'm not entirely sure if that can be avoided when printing on glossy paper at home, though. It's definitely not water proof, but again, that's not the sticker's fault. I'm not using waterproof ink and I'm not sure an inkjet printer is capable of printing a waterproof label. I'm guessing only a professional label press can do that. I'm only throwing this in because I've seen other comments mention it. As others have said, there are large slashes across the backing which cause creases in the A4 sheet of sticker paper. The area with the crease is not usable. Ok for small sample cuts, not ok if you actually want to maximize your output. I'd say you lose a good third of the paper, possibly more. I honestly can't find any redeeming qualities here. I specifically ordered Avery because I didn't have much time and wanted to ensure good quality. This was the exact opposite. Definitely will never buy again, and will view Avery with a skeptic side eye from now on. ... show more

I wanted to make stickers for bags for a trail mix bar. I had 3 clear sticker sheets in the same brand as my cutting machine. I opted to try Avery brand for the rest. The sticker on the left is Avery and the right is the other brand. Avery accepted the ink much better. I had no issues with needing to let it dry. Just a note- the Avery sheets printed after the other brand so the ink splotchiness on the other brand is not due to low ink levels. The Avery vinyl is thinner and more pliable; which I preferred. It also cut nicer on my machine and is cheaper. Overall, the Avery brand gets my vote. ... show more

I use this sticker paper to make decals for toys with a white background. The colors come out clear with my HP LaserJet printer and the paper is very durable. To save money I buy it directly from Avery 100 sheets at at time. I hope this was helpful!
