Durable and great for uses beyond holding business cards
There's not much to write in a review about the typical use of self-adhesive business card holders. These come on sheets containing two card holders each that you peel back and put onto folders or inside of notebooks. If all you want is to put your (or someone else's) business card anywhere, these wi
ll work beautifully for you; they are durable, have a good, strong adhesive, and look very professional. I bought these, however, for a slightly different purpose. As someone who carries around a little black notebook [nearly] everywhere I go, I found value in note cards, as well. For me, this meant that, while the notebook was great for jotting down information and scribbling, the note cards were ideal for shopping lists that I could pull out and put in my pocket when I went to the grocery store. Unfortunately, the paper pockets at the back of typical notebooks are a hassle to use on a regular basis, and I wanted a way to have quick access to a note card or two. Enter the Avery self-adhesive business card holders. As noted in the product's full name, these holders are top-loading, which means that 3"x5" note cards can be easily slipped in and out (in the vertical orientation). At 3.5" wide, you have enough clearance to quickly access cards, while still holding them securely; having attached one to the inside cover of my notebook, I've yet to misplace a single card. Furthermore, while I use these to hold one at a time, you can easily put a few note cards in without running the risk of damaging the holder. To summarize, this would be a great product for its intended use, but is also a godsend for us chronically-organized people out there, as well.

These work fairly well but do not stick well to certain surfaces. Could be a little bit stickier in my opinion.

Helpful product - hard to find in stores
Worked fine - exactly as expected. Unable to find in any of the big box office stores near me so ordering off Amazon worked and seems to be a normal Avery product in quality and packaging. Use mine to label the coffee containers - cut the label and stuff it in the slot so once we've poured the coffee
grounds into the container we can remember and buy (or not buy) the same coffee brand again later. That only accounts for a couple of these holders but sure I'll find other fun uses for the other eight ... If you are buying these to label clear storage containers for the garage by the way, we just use postit notes and put them INSIDE the containers (with the writing facing outward which is the opposite of how you normally do it) and tape them too so they don't fall off, but these things can be put on the OUTSIDE and look a lot more professional.

I create an SD card of the Mac OS-X installer for each computer, and stick it to the computer somewhere. In Mountain Lion this might seem redundant, considering the recovery volume on each ML hard drive, but "stuff happens", and I feel more comfortable with a little cheap insurance. Plus, the SD will
boot the Mac, even if the HD won't boot either partition -- and the Disk Utility on the SD has a pretty good chance of repairing any problems. I use these "business card holders" as an adhesive pocket for the SD-card. I find that it is easier to get the SD-card in and out if I further enclose it in a tiny ziplock bag that I also happen to order via Amazon. I originally got the tiny ziplocks to hold mealtime medicine doses, but when you have 1000 of them, you find other uses.

Bought this for a specific project that needed to fit 2 cards per sleeve easily. In case anyone else is interested, two 16pt cards work ok but not ideal.

I tired of printing new labels or writing on masking tape every time I put a batch of cookies into a tin. I applied these card holders to my tins, and now I can change out labels easily. I made up cards for my most-often-baked recipes and keep them handy!

I bought these to attach to leather luggage tags. They were a little bigger than the size described but, they worked for what I needed. I just had to cut 2 of the corners which will still be fine for their function. I gave the luggage tags as gifts and the recipients were very happy with how they wil
l work.

Just what I was looking for!
Couldn't find these where I live. It's exactly what I was looking for. I adhered them to the inside of a 3 ring binder, to hold some of my business cards. I have a couple of concerns though. First is that the adhesive might not hold well. I'll give it some time to cure. Second, is that it doesn't hol
d that many business cards. I think it was only intended to hold one, but I'm using it to hold several. It's a bit of a tight fit. I'm afraid that customers won't be able to pull one out with ease. I hope this review helps.

They stick great, look great, and are exactly as advertised! I like that they’re thin but still nice size.

I use these to hold variety labels on the outside of tea cannisters. They are heavy duty and work great.

These are Okay for what I used them for. I change my own car oil. So i stuck these on the inside of the front winshield in the upper left corner. I then print out a card size paper to slide in it to remind me: When the Next Oil Change Mileage is due When the Next Air Filter Change Mileage is due When
the Next Transmission Oil Change Mileage is due When the Next Tire Rotation Mileage is due They stuck great initially. I guess the heat in the car gets to the pocket. Over a few weeks, the plastic seems to have grown and the pocket sags. Also, the adhesive is not adhering like it was. Since what I am using them for is not their intended purpose, I still think they are decent.

I purchased a 10 pack previously and they were great. They were thick and very neat and flat. So I decided since I liked them so well, I would save time and money and buy a 3 pack with 10 in each for a total of $21.69. Unfortunately, not thinking anything could possibly go wrong, I didn’t open them u
ntil today and much to my surprise, they were all wrinkled and shriveled up. Another unfortunate thing was my return time passed on Feb. 7th. so money down the drain. They looked perfectly fine in the package, so I really had no reason to believe that I needed to open and inspect them right away. Lesson learned…Inspect immediately!

I use these for my client file folders so I can easily grab the one I need. I also used one on a container in our pantry for pancake mix, writing down the mix to water ratio so it's always easily accessible. Many uses, great product.

Not for multiple cards or sticking to rough molded plastic
My purpose was to put 10+ of my cards in the pouch and stick it to the inside of a rough molded plastic lid of a fire safe for clients. The sleeve wouldn't hold more than about five cards, and it wouldn't really stick to the plastic, so I'm now looking for something larger and, hopefully, stickier. I
n the meantime, I'll get some extra adhesive for the holders I've already purchased.

Really liking this product. I bought it to cover a logo on a leather portfolio/binder that I had from a previous employer, and I just slid my new business card over it. Really happy with it.
